Very knowledgeable.
I have taken my car to Chico Car Care for years. This last time I went in, my car needed significant repairs. Dan worked with me to get my car safely back on the road. He listened to my concerns and my needs and addressed those. I trust that when he says something needs to be done that it really needs to be done. He…
There are a few things as unsettling as car trouble when you are hundreds of miles from home, complicated by having all of your kid’s belongings in the back of your car in preparation for college move-in! Fortunately, Chico Car Care was recommended by our towing company. David and Josh were amazing in trying to get…
I cannot say enough good things about Chico Car Care, proprietor Dan Hiestand, and service advisor David. I drive a 1999 Toyota Camry V6 (XV20), and I had been fighting a persistent check engine light. I had already replaced parts and spent a great deal of time trying to diagnose the problem myself, but the issue…
Chico Car Care is the best! Great guys that give you honest feedback about your car's needs. Went to them after the dealership told me my 2007 Prius had a cracked wheel bearing that needed replacement and quoted me over 3K for a replacement bearing and an odometer replacement. CCC told me they didn't see anything…
Chico Car Care is a reliable, efficient, and knowledgeable auto repair shop. Its staff is always courteous and explains the work my car needs and any future repairs or maintenance that could be done. They keep a maintenance calendar for me, which helps me budget for future repairs. Dan and the wonderful staff at…
Great service every time!
I can’t say enough positive words about Dan, David, and everyone at Chico Car Care! They just serviced and repaired my Lexus and it feels like it is brand new! They are honest and fair and always go the extra step to help. Why? Because that is the way they are. I have taken my car to Dan for many years now and you…
Great service as always. Been a patron of this establishment for 3.5 years now. I know that my 2014 Tacoma is in good hands and will last until my 10 year-old son gets his license, and many years beyond. Friendly staff, all that good stuff. Fair pricing on services—remember, you’re supporting a LOCAL BUSINESS here.…
I have been going to Chico Care Care for many many years. They have kept my 2007 4 runner in tip top shape. I recommend them to everyone I can. Dan and his team are knowledgeable, effective, and very honest.
I have been taking my car to Chico Car Care for years and years, and will continue to. Their prices are extremely fair. The folks there are so courteous and competent, and they never talk down to me because I'm a woman. Great place!
Chico car care is awesome. I was really scared when I broke down. They were very gracious and courteous. really appreciate the care and concern they showed me. David made sure to keep me in the loop at all stages. I will be going to Chico car care for all my car needs from now on!
On time, On price, Great service, Great work! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I had a diagnostic done on my hybrid Toyota Prius that had warning lights on and the report was thorough and looked at the codes and identified the problems. It included all of the cars systems and I was very impressed I had taken it to Toyota and they gave me a one page bill that was $350. and the only thing it…
I appreciate the detail diagnosis and the time flexibility! The services performed was excellent My car run much smoother than before.
I go to this place exclusively for my 2012 Tundra. I like that they have technicians that specialize in Toyota’s. Detailed inspections EVERYTIME. I always leave feeling good about the service and also a better awareness of my vehicle.
Had my hybrid battery checked .it was bad. Dan explained all my options.i was very pleased with their service. Would recommend them
Honest and trustworthy. Replaced worn out parts. Thorough. Passed smog after inspection. Dan and his crew are awesome.
CCC did thorough diagnosis of vehicle I wanted to buy and gave a good recommendation that made me feel comfortable. I received diagnostic report for future service. I'm very glad for their expertise
The prompt and thorough service, at a reasonable price, was greatly appreciated. Price for services was well within the quoted amount. Full diagnostic report was clearly explained. Daniel’s professional courtesy was an added value.
I appreciate a business who overtly appreciates their customers. My general preference is to aim for privately owned small business -- keep resources circulating within the community. Dan, the owner, has always demonstrated his intent to keep each customer as his priority, where others might view my value only as…
My Hyundai Sonata was acting up sporadically. Took it in to try and see what was wrong. They spent two days trying to determine what was causing the issues I was having. They were able to replicate the issue but they weren't able to figure it out what the cause was. They were up front with me about being stumped…
They were able to take me in at the last minute and at the end of the day to replace my battery. Everyone there was very kind and professional. This is the second time they have worked on my car and I have been more than satisfied each time.
The owner is very responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and personable. I never worry that I am being up-saled or talked into something I don’t need. He has worked to get me a used part to replace on my Prius which saved me a lot of money. His expertise of the Prius is reassuring.
Dan and his team are amazing! Above and beyond, professional and highly competent. So glad I found them. Could not recommend Chico Car Care highly enough. You won't be disappointed. Thanks, Dan!
I first took my 08 Prius to Chico Car Care about a year ago to get a check engine light looked at. We had it scanned at Autozone and after looking up the code it appeared the coolant pump was toast and needed to be repaired. We had the car towed in to Chico and Dan and the crew diagnosed the car as having a “bad…

Staff was courteous and professional and I will be taking my car back for more work.
I've had these guys work on 3 different cars of mine over the years and they are always great. Quality work from honest mechanics. This is where you should take your car.
I was on a cross country road trip and my check engine light was on. They helped me and had an appointment for me right away. Being a solo traveler and back on the road within a day was super important. They were very kind and Jonathan was especially helpful and awesome!
They were very professional and were done with the repair when they said they would be.. I will definitely use them again.
Really grateful to have found Chico Car Care. It’s not easy to find shops that will do work in hybrids so I’m glad to have found these guys. The experience was great - from booking an appointment online to the fast turnaround and super friendly staff.
Great customer service - Recommended by a local dealer as trained Prius mechanics - we’ve never yet been disappointed
Great service. Got a recommendation from a friend, glad I did. I'll go again when I need service. LW
These guys took my car in last minute before Xmas and fixed my car right up with brakes and pads and I was able to see my mom for Xmas. Excellent customer service!
Great service I have never used an auto repair shop, I have always done my own service's. Your service writer Rex was very straight forward. So I went along with what he said needed to be done. He told me it would cost me because where the fuel injector was located, so I told him why he was in there to please change…
Chico Car Care has been the best automotive experience I've ever had! I think this is the first mechanic in Chico who hadn't taken advantage me for not knowing anything about cars. I went in with my check engine light on and they did a full diagnosis for my 02 Lexus es300. All it needed were hoses replaced and it's…
These folks get it right every time! Their customer service, expertise and industry knowledge have kept me coming back for years. The difference between these guys and dealership service is night and day. I've never had anyone mansplain the bill to me here despite being female, just up front, honest and respectful communication.
I was very pleased with the communication about my car. I was kept apprised of what was happening and they worked to accommodate my schedule. I wil return for future repair and maintenance needs in the future.
