They are always friendly. They got our car on the schedule promptly or when it was convenient for us. They have found the problem in my cars when other dealer mechanics said noting was wrong. Thanks!
Chico Car Care is awesome! They have serviced my car a few times and always done in a timely and professional manner!
I cannot say enough good things about Chico Car Care, proprietor Dan Hiestand, and service advisor David. I drive a 1999 Toyota Camry V6 (XV20), and I had been fighting a persistent check engine light. I had already replaced parts and spent a great deal of time trying to diagnose the problem myself, but the issue…
Chico Car Care Is always an accommodating and and never tries to upsell during a visit. I find it helpful that they will give me a report of the items they recommend for maintenance for future visits.
Chico Car Care is absolutely the best. I have my car serviced there regularly and I find them honest and reasonably priced. Unlike other places, they do not try to upsell me every time I am there. Dan and David are absolutely the best and I trust their advice.
Chico Car Care is the best! Great guys that give you honest feedback about your car's needs. Went to them after the dealership told me my 2007 Prius had a cracked wheel bearing that needed replacement and quoted me over 3K for a replacement bearing and an odometer replacement. CCC told me they didn't see anything…
Dan and his crew are great! Work is always done on time, estimates are accurate, and prices are way below what the dealership charges. And when pricey repairs are needed, they go way out of their way to find the best deal for you.
Chico Car Care is a reliable, efficient, and knowledgeable auto repair shop. Its staff is always courteous and explains the work my car needs and any future repairs or maintenance that could be done. They keep a maintenance calendar for me, which helps me budget for future repairs. Dan and the wonderful staff at…
Always professional and honest.
Chico Care provides excellent service. They are very professional and always provide me with good advice for keeping my RAV4 running in great condition.
Best service in Chico
This is the only automotive repair shop that I use for my car. It's honest, timely, and very forthcoming with what needs immediate attention and what can wait. And they do not try to add repairs that are not needed at all and that's something we all need to be able to count on and is rare in this type of business.
I wish I could give more stars! Highly recommend. One of the few shops that are experts at Prius’s. Dan has amazing communication skills and is honest, fair and trustworthy. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We are lucky to have them in our community.
Great service every time!
Had trouble opening Gen 2 Prius hatch mechanism and gas cap stuck. Chico car care diagnosed minor problems and fixed at reasonable charge. Only found what was wrong, did not inflate problem. Honest car repair shops are hard to find. I have been using them for our Toyotas for many years.
Dan and his team always take great care of my car. They keep me updated on what to expect for repairs down the road and send a report. Great place to take your Lexus! Have been going for a few years now.
Chico Care Car is the absolute best and most complete auto repair shop in Chico. They were courteous and completed all work sooner than was expected. They did a complete inspection of the truck and reported all possible problems. They are great don’t go anywhere else.
I can’t say enough positive words about Dan, David, and everyone at Chico Car Care! They just serviced and repaired my Lexus and it feels like it is brand new! They are honest and fair and always go the extra step to help. Why? Because that is the way they are. I have taken my car to Dan for many years now and you…
I have been using Chico Car Care for awhile now and have always have had professional attention, notifications, and services done to my Toyota Tundra. I have confidence in Dan, and his team, to continue to oversee service needed for my truck.
Great service as always. Been a patron of this establishment for 3.5 years now. I know that my 2014 Tacoma is in good hands and will last until my 10 year-old son gets his license, and many years beyond. Friendly staff, all that good stuff. Fair pricing on services—remember, you’re supporting a LOCAL BUSINESS here.…
If there is a better, more thorough Toyota service facility in Chico, I have yet to find it. In addition, every individual I have ever come in contact with at the shop has been courteous and pleasant. I will return. SW
I needed an oil change. They had a special called 'Road Trip Special.' The inspected every aspect of the Toyota Tacoma. They found some items that needed to addressed. Made me feel safe. Very professional and on time. Would reccomend.

In this day and age it is important to know that you got what you payed for. When I leave Chico Car Care I do so feeling relaxed because I know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, they did exactly what I told them to do and that it was done right. It's not just about getting a quality repair done; it's about trust!
My 2000 Lexus RX300 had the check engine light on for a long time. Dan was able to fix it, change my spark plugs, fix my sunroof leak due to drains being clogged, changed my cabin air filter and did a full inspection. He did all of this within 24 hours of dropping the car off. I had originally gone to him in 2011…
Good service.
I've been going to CCC for over 10 years, and they continue to provide quality exceptional service!!!
I have been frequenting Chico Car Care ever since I bought my 2014 Toyota Tacoma last year (Summer 2021). Recommended by a trusted friend who also drives a Tacoma, I decided to book my first oil change & service with Chico Car Care. They were able to get me an appointment within a very reasonable timeframe (~1…
Honest and trustworthy. Replaced worn out parts. Thorough. Passed smog after inspection. Dan and his crew are awesome.
They know my vehicle better than I do. Thorough and efficient every time Thank you
Awesome shop to take your car to. I have a Honda Element I just picked up and Dan + His team were able to make sure everything was ready (for a 1000+ mile road trip) in just a single morning. Just got back and everything is running smooth, I’m confident in their expertise and will be coming back within the next 3k miles for sure.
Chico Car Care was amazing. I bought a 2016 used Lexus and went to them to get a pre-purchase inspection on my car. They went above and beyond in every aspect of service. They were extremely thorough and when they found an issue. instead of just quoting me a price to fix it, let me know that the car was still under…
Great experience. Good customer service. They gave me a detailed report of everything and even checked up on me a couple days later. I’d definitely come back here for my next service.
My Hyundai Sonata was acting up sporadically. Took it in to try and see what was wrong. They spent two days trying to determine what was causing the issues I was having. They were able to replicate the issue but they weren't able to figure it out what the cause was. They were up front with me about being stumped…
I have been taking my car to Chico Car Care for about 3 years now. Each time I’m surprised by the level of customer service they provide. They are quick to book appointments, quick turn around, the prices are fair and they provide a detailed report on the condition and maintenance schedule for your car. I love the…

Service was professional and fast. Great location to take dogs on a walk while waiting and a breakfast spot right down the road. They text and email updates with a detailed report of my vehicle along with a maintenance schedule for future visits. They do a great job!
I just returned from a road trip after having my 2015 CR-V serviced by Chico Car Care. As expected all went well. Chico Car Care is the best!
Recommended! Try em!
Fair pricing and excellent customer service! They did a complimentary inspection and it came back clean, I appreciate their honesty. Many other companies make dubious recommendations to squeeze more money out of their customers but not this place. Definitely my go to choice for vehicle maintenance in Chico!
Really grateful to have found Chico Car Care. It’s not easy to find shops that will do work in hybrids so I’m glad to have found these guys. The experience was great - from booking an appointment online to the fast turnaround and super friendly staff.
I appreciate the work that was done for my truck. The customer service was amazing. They did a full inspection of my vehicle to make sure there were no further problems.
