We recently moved into our home and needed to get a full inspection done on our fireplace. From my initial call with Dave (who was extremely knowledgeable and spent time answering all my questions) to Brian the technician everyone was A+ to work with. Brian was fantastic and again took the time explaining in detail everything he was doing and educating me on my fireplace. He was also thorough with his inspection and after action report. One thing we all worry about is getting up charged or told we need things we do not actually need repaired now and I am pleased to say Chimney Concepts and Brian did not push. He was very open with items we will need to watch but are not needed yet. I will be using Chimney Concepts for yearly inspections on my fireplace after my experience and I would 100% recommend them for your service.

Devon did an excellent job servicing our chimney, which was overdue for cleaning. He was thorough, both with the cleaning and with his clear explanations. He also provided options for possible future upgrades to our fireplace. I highly recommend Devon and Chiimney Concepts. He provided friendly, efficient, excellent service.

I am both pleased and appreciative of the service, professionalism, craftsmanship Tyler, Jerry and Jason demonstrated from estimate to install of dual electric fireplaces. The original natural two sided fireplace had a defectively installed liner rendering it unusable. A couple local pretty well-known companies recommend replacements that turned out would not have been up to code. Another company cost me $2600 for a fix to the vent, that he could not execute because he did not check where the vent met the roofline of the house. Then he disappeared. Another company quoted me tens of thousands of dollars to tear out the entire brick façade and fireplace to replace it with a new fireplace. And that proposed installation was not going to solve the problem of the two sided fireplace that was see-through into the master bedroom! Another original design flaw😆. Gemini suggested that Chimney Concepts was expert at these types of situations. In this case, AI was right! Tyler was attentive to all details in assessing the situation and providing a quote which he explained throughly, including cost risks. I really appreciated how they consulted together as a team and ensured that Jerry, who was doing the install, had complete knowledge of the project. That teamwork and coordination continued on install day. The electrician Jason arrived on time, provided the needed electrical work and advised me on the condition of the circuit breaker box without pressure. Both were respectful of my home, putting down tarps and wearing foot coverings without my prompting. They completed the install ahead of schedule. All in all the complete high quality, excellent job cost less than the other quotes and even made up for the $2600 loss from the botched attempted repair. And here is a testament to the integrity of the company. The electrical work came in under cost, and they refunded me the difference! I feel happy to finally have a working fireplace and even an upgrade from what was there before. These units are just in time to take the chill out of the Fall air. Thank you Tyler, Jerry, Jason and the management that does not get in the way of pros like them doing great work for customers.

We had a great experience with Chimney Concepts. I wasn't sure what to expect, since I found this business on my own. I was looking for a custom fireplace door for our gas log fireplace. I went to the showroom in Port Washington and it was so easy to find what I was looking for. There were many options on the floor and Cody was very knowledgeable in explaining all the different custom door options, from color, material and handles. We also had a broken damper and was told from another chimney service it was too old and couldn't be fixed. Cody took one look at it and knew exactly what it needed and fixed it! He also installed a damper clamp to keep it to code, so he went the extra step in making sure everything was in working order. We also debated if we wanted to convert our gas log fireplace to an insert and Cody took the time to explain our options. While I really wanted to go that route, we decided to hold off and use what we have for now. If we do decide to convert to an insert, we will definitely go back here!

Devon came out to sweep our chimney and he was great! Professional and friendly (even to our excitable dog). He noticed a missing part during his inspection of the chimney, which the company is helping us resolve. Great service all around!

Brian came out to inspect and clean our wood burner this year and by a compound measure was the best provider we’ve ever experienced. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and clean. He was thorough in his inspection and even went above and beyond to take a look at our chimney, which he correctly noticed needed service. We had been planning to go with a different company for our chimney work but will probably change providers to CC at this point, 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Overall amazing experience, reasonable pricing (mostly), and one of the hardest-working guys I've ever seen. Devon quoted us for a steel liner and explained why masonry liners would be a bad call. The steel liner quote was very reasonable and we got that done. He also recommended we look into some masonry repairs for the chimney on the roof. I had him quote us for tuck pointing and based on the quote and a brief conversation, it definitely seemed like a "we dont want this job but we'll do it for $x" price. All good though, the liner process went well (for us) but unfortunately for Art, there was some unforseen difficulties breaking out the old chimney tiles. Art worked non-stop and stayed late for 2 days straight (including a weekend) getting this done. He did a fantastic job, was extremely respectful, and had professionalism and craftsmanship that Chimney Concepts should be proud of. We definitely got a good deal considering the work involved, and Chimney Concepts didn't try to upsell or charge us more because of it. Thanks to Art and the team, and please make sure Art gets recognized for all his hard work.

Dan returned from his initial visit to track down a leak. He was very professional and respectful of the property. Once he found the cause of the leak. He explained what we should to do to resolve the issue. I look forward to him returning to rectify the problem. With his experience I feel confident I can trust you guys with this project. I was totally wrong with the previous paragraph. They subcontracted my project to someone that upon his work. Unfortunately covered up the actual issue. I gave them multiple opportunities to rectify the issue. They failed horribly! My advice to anyone who receives an estimate from them, is to get a second opinion. Then ask if they're actually the primary contractor doing the work. My experience after the initial contact was misleading and downright ridiculous. They used some guy that didn't even have a business name on his truck. Claiming he was working for Chimney Concepts. Be vigilant! Don't fall victim like we did. I basically threw my hard earned in the trash can. I had to redo everything they did.
