We have had an outstanding experience with Chris James landscaping. Our representative, Chris Daveniero, has been fantastic to work with from day one. He is attentive, detail-oriented, incredibly kind, and always quick to return calls or answer any questions we have. Chris is also very proactive and makes sure everything runs smoothly. He has overseen both the maintenance of our lawn and the installation of our sprinkler system, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The lawn maintenance crew is equally amazing. They are always friendly, respectful, and truly take pride in their work. One moment that really stood out to us was when my husband and I were leaving the house for a walk with our newborn. The crew noticed us and voluntarily turned off their equipment so the noise wouldn't disturb the baby and there wouldn't be dust in the air. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. The team consistently does a great job, and our yard is looking great. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and genuinely caring landscaping company!!!

The quick summary— we’ve worked with Chris James Landscaping for years; they’re prompt, hard working, and have great vision and communication. Highly recommend! We’ve used Chris James Landscaping for over 5 years with Spring/Fall cleanup, garden bed maintenance and mulching, and lawn care – always been easy to work with and prompt. When we moved and needed landscaping designed and installed, plus new irrigation zones established, we didn’t even consider another company. Chris D. surveyed the yard, asked if I had any preferences, and provided a visual mockup of his thoughts. Whenever I had a question he quickly responded and gave options for the action plan. He kept me in the loop the whole time and was a daily active presence during installation. Great guy to work with and we’re glad he’s been our CJL point-person through these years. When installing, Victor & Giovanni’s attention to detail with plant placement and visual alignment was top-tier. These guys are exactly who you want on your planting job — personable, efficient, hard working, knowledgeable of the plants in their care, and patient as we reviewed layout in real-time. Luis spent all day making sure our irrigation was how it needed to be to best serve our plants. This guy had to pop up a path through our front walkway pavers to get a new line to a garden bed, and he reinstalled it so well that you’d never know the pavers were ever out of place. Very high attention-to-detail and personable. Also, shout out to the lawn team who drops in for weekly maintenance — they do an amazing job and the lawn is ready for us to enjoy every weekend. The yard looks amazing and we know it was done with high intention. Very thankful for these guys and the work they put in to ensure it looks as it does and that it will last for years to come.

Mike, Sorry for the delay. I know Chris D and team worked to overcome the challenges with your property late in the season. We managed to stabilize your soil late in the season by installing a new seed lawn and irrigation system, we got a little lucky with the warmer weather late fall and had good germination. By the way, the newly renovated home looks great! I drive by to and from work almost every day and noticed the turf has really come into its own this spring. We reached out to Chris James landscaping back in April of 2024. We had just moved into our new home and were assigned their project manager, Josh. From the beginning he was so wonderful to work with. He was available to discuss and help in anyway he could. He listened to all that we wanted and gave his honest opinion. That summer he redid our backyard. Brian and his team came in and removed many old bushes, shrubs and plantings and placed sod. They worked hard in the heat of the summer and met any requests we had! We couldn’t be happier with how open and clean our backyard looks now! Fast forward to this year, we reached out to Josh again and he put together a plan to redo our front yard as it also had many overgrown plantings/shrubs. Josh took his time to plan out what he thought would work best with our space. Brian’s team worked on the front again and they were wonderful. Our front yard has completely transformed our house. We’ve had neighbors stop to tell us how great it looks and compliment the work they’ve done and the selections Josh made! They also installed pavers that lead from our backyard to the driveway as we had our driveway redone too. Josh was very involved and would show up daily to ensure that everything was going as planned when coordinating with the company who redid our driveway. Overall, we are truly so happy to have met Josh and work with him. He was professional, friendly, knowledgable and truly cared about us being happy with the end results! We were glad to begin a landscaping program with Chris James Landscaping including lawn maintenance, fertilization, shrub trimming and all around grounds upkeep. Our lawn has never looked better. Additionally worked with Josh Abramson at Chris James Landscaping to rework most all the areas of my property - a major job that had not been done in 30 years. Josh drew up a plan, suggesting beautiful flowering shrubs, making creative solutions to enable us to keep those few elements that were healthy or we were fond of, and kept within a budget that made the project possible. He laid out a timeline based on our schedule, brought in a terrific crew who were knowledgeable, respectful, energetic, neat and responsive. Josh was with us all the way, keeping tabs on our watering new shrubs, identifying areas for attention and making suggestions for the best results. We could not have been happier. It was a big job -- getting the grass up to snuff, re-landscaping most of the property to make our home look its best. We have known Chris James for decades and he has always been able to help us with many projects over the years.
