Definitely worth a stop. Be sure to check out the upstairs collection of cookware, molds, and huge teaching kitchen. The Grove Restaurant on-site was very good. Some nice vegetarian options if that's your thing. Service was slow and inattentive but perhaps that was just the night we went. Would go again and recommend visiting here.

We attended a special KQED event here for the “Check Please Bay Area” television show broadcast on KQED. The facility is located next-door to the marketplace in downtown Napa and has a large parking lot and outdoor gardens where the chefs grow various herbs and items for their cooking endeavors. It was an episode prescreen, followed by a vendor Interview QA with the show hosts, and sampling of their food offering with wine upstairs. The Copia facility is very modern and spacious, and can accommodate large events. I’d say ours was at least several hundred people in the auditorium for the pre-screening. On the first floor there is an active restaurant the public can enjoy. Upstairs there is a culinary museum in the main lobby areas. There is a store downstairs that was not open at the time that we were there, and upstairs are the kitchens used by the students, which we observed through the doors were being set up for the next day of classes, very modern with latest equipment. I have visited both the CIA back east and Greystone and this facility is of the same caliber. You should definitely check out this location in addition to the marketplace next-door if you’re in downtown Napa.

I really enjoyed visiting CIA at Copia. The museum is quiet and peaceful, and the garden is beautiful, especially the gorgeous tomatoes! It’s a very nice, easy walk and a relaxing place to spend some time. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Napa.

I planned a surprise 70th birthday celebration for my husband, and Adrian, my personal party planner at CIA Copia was perfect!! From the menu to the choice of area for the party, to every single detail about our day, he was everything I could have asked for in a party planner. It was a wonderful surprise for my husband, the meal, service and mood were fabulous, and I felt that he made the event special not just for my husband, but for me and my entire group of family and friends. Would definitely consider returning.

Perfect spot to enjoy the Annual Black Food and Wine Festival 🍷 😋 Had a spectacular time with beautiful black happy people enjoying food and amazing wine from black own people. This venue was big, spacious and provided and outdoor space for vendors and many of us dancing. together.
