Had a great experience with CJ Roofing with my rowhouse in NW DC in August 2026. I got three quotes and although there were cheaper options, I ran it through AI and it recommended them due to the specifics of what they would do and the quality of materials. Super responsive, on time, and great communication with no pressure. They were even recommended by the other companies as the option they would suggest if I didn’t go with their company. 100% great experience.

Highly recommend CJ Roofing! The entire experience from the initial estimate to installing my new roof, gutters, and skylight was streamlined and efficient. Charlie, Hugo, and the entire team were wonderful to work with and couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Worked with CJ Roofing on negotiating a repair addendum for a home inspection contingency. Very responsive and prompt which seems incredible rare for any contractor these days. Appreciated his honesty and information provided! Will not hesitate to recommend him for my DC real estate clients moving forward.

Charlie, Hugo, and the entire team at CJ Roofing were absolutely outstanding! They helped me choose and install an energy-efficient Velux skylight with a solar shade in my Capitol Hill row home, and the results have been fantastic. The new skylight brings in beautiful natural light while helping keep the house cooler in the summer and reducing energy costs.
From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, kind, and attentive to every detail. It’s refreshing to work with craftsmen who genuinely love what they do and take such pride in delivering exceptional quality.
I’m truly grateful to Charlie and the entire CJ Roofing crew. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest advice, outstanding workmanship, and excellent customer service!

We recently hired CJ Roofing LLC to replace our flat roof on our DC row house, which included a complete tear-off and roof replacement. We couldn't be more pleased with the results, truly an outstanding job and experience. The team arrived on time and effectively communicated throughout the project. Charles and team demonstrated strong background and experience with roof replacement. A huge thank you to Charles and team for the truly outstanding professional roof replacement.

I inherited my childhood home in the Brookland neighborhood in Washington DC. The renovation process has been incredibly stressful. Old homes come with a lot of responsibility, I know this first hand having owned a historic home in Baltimore prior to this one. When it came time to get the roof done, CJ Roofing came highly recommended. They responded very quickly to my initial inquiry, while other larger companies took days to get back to me. I worked directly with Charles who was punctual for our appointment time, incredibly communicative, and extremely nice. The roof on the home is a historic slate roof, so I knew it required specialized attention from a company that understood historic homes. We had to push off the work a few days because DC got a lot of rain, but Charles kept the lines of communication open. I never felt forgotten about like I have with other contractors. Once the work was completed, I got feedback from Charles and pictures for my records. He made this entire process incredibly easy, so it was one less thing I needed to stress over. I would highly recommend CJ roofing - especially for historic homes.
Our slate roof repair was done on time and very professionally. Hard to find good roofers (especially those who work on slate). Not cheap but in line with what I have paid in the past.
