I’ve taken 2 classes so far and the experience has been wonderful. The chef (I think her name was Shannon) is super knowledgeable and open to giving out tips and tricks. I left the recent class learning 3-4 new things I had never known before. The food was SO tasty and it was really neat to work together with a group toward a common goal.

Why we won't be back: We made chicken, which everyone commented was dry. Really dry. The appetizers were loaded with garlic to the point it was way too much even for garlic lovers. We got a tiny sliver of berry pie dessert with frozen berries. It was so small, they said, because "We heard you're having birthday…

This was my first time here and I chose to do the dumpling making class. Holy cow, this was so fun and the food was delicious. Our chefs were fantastic teachers and helped us throughout each step. I would absolutely come back again!

Enjoyed a lovely evening, met some new folks, ate a great meal, learned some new tricks. Will be going back.

Why we won't be back: We made chicken, which everyone commented was dry. Really dry. The appetizers were loaded with garlic to the point it was way too much even for garlic lovers. We got a tiny sliver of berry pie dessert with frozen berries. It was so small, they said, because "We heard you're having birthday cake later". They literally rush you out the door. When we asked if they could serve a coffee after dinner, they said, "No, the machine's not plugged in." They stood behind us waiting to clear every fork and dish because they said, "We have a dishwasher who wants to go home". They stand around the table staring at you, and as soon as you've taken your last bite, they make it clear they want you out. We had a great time despite this. But we won't be back.

The biggest surprise is how much team building happens when a group gathers here and learns together to make something wonderful to experience and enjoy.
I have tremendous appreciation for what's they've built here. It’s far more than a cooking school, it's a genuinely unique way to connect with people through food. Absolutely classic.

Asian series class a disappointment. Poor communication about recipe revisions and schedules. Subpar pots and woks as well as missing necessary wok tools. Ingredients sometimes not authentic and substitutions not revealed in recipes. Recipes average tasting and chef wearing jewelry and handling raw meat and touching face and not washing hands before mixing rice with his hands not only disappointing but not in accordance with health codes. The attendees were nice, the chefs were nice some very knowledgeable. but it really is a school for beginner or novice cooks and their office support needs to be improved. The stories the chefs told were interesting but the recipes need to be improved. I mean overcrowding a wok with chicken instead of cooking in small batches absolutely ruined the outcome of the recipe and showed a lack of knowledge. Perhaps if they are going to do an authentic asian series scale back the recipes, better to do a few things well then many things mediocre. Chefs who did the desserts did an awesome job though. I really wanted to learn some new recipes and techniques but instead I learned more about what not to do and that my own recipes were much better prepared with the correct tools and wok and authentic ingredients. I follow a number of Asian chefs on IG and personally learned more from them.

I joined the 6 week Asian series (Japanese x2, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, and Korean) and it was so much fun! I learned so much and it helped with my confidence in the kitchen since I am new to cooking.
Everyone was great and the food was always tasty. I appreciated the extra information on where to get some of the more authentic ingredients (Mekong, H-Mart, etc), making it super easy to recreate these recipes at home. Look forward to doing more series here! :-)

Our team of 31 individuals visited Classic Cooking for a private company event. It was amazing from start to finish. The entire team of chef instructors were so welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, professional and made the event a wonderful experience for us !!! Cooking together in our individual teams and then coming together to share the dishes we all cooked encouraged team-work, togetherness, communication and fun. It was overall just a really great experience. Everyone was so pleased.
We would highly recommend Classic Cooking to any company looking for a fun, unique, engaging and memorable activity.

What a wonderful four course wine dinner!
I joined friends for one of the wine dinner events. I have Celiac disease (must be gluten free), but I forgot to ask my friend to let them know that when I was added to the booking. Careless on my part, and definitely not their problem to solve. Right?
When we arrived, I told the server, who brought the chef over. I asked which dishes would be able to safely eat, knowing it was too late for them to change the food for me. But on literally no notice, they were kind enough to modify several of the courses to be safe for me. I told them they did not need to bother, but they simply took care of me with zero fuss.
Not to mention that all of the food and wine was delicious, and the chef’s narratives and the service were fantastic. Just a wonderful experience all the way around.
Thank you, Chef [An]Drew and the team!! Will definitely return (with fair warning next time 😊).

We had a fabulous night with Chef, Sharon and Chris. We met someone great people that we cooked with. I ended up, stepping in with my husband to make the lamb chops, seared to perfection. I love the green beans. I love the appetizer with the mushrooms and goat cheese. Even the chocolate eclairs for dessert were wonderful.
I WOULD RECOMMEND
