We had our rehearsal dinner at the peterson dumesnil house this year. the food provided by clementine was delicious! the service was next level and the attention to detail was evident from start to finish! would highly recommend clementine for any event!!
The PDH sells itself as a place to have a wedding. What we did not see coming was Clementine Catering. Grace is one of a kind. As a coordinator, she was open to our ideas while being knowledgeable enough to anticipate things we would not have considered. Every meeting, and especially on the big day, she had the details dialed in, but somehow managed to maintain a sense of calm and joy that put us at ease and kept us in the moment. You want her on your team. The food was delicious. Grace and the chef worked with us to design the right menu. It was even better than we expected and at a very affordable price. People were eatin’ good. On our wedding day, the Clementine staff were so friendly and attentive. It felt like they cared about us, and a lot of our guests mentioned how wonderful they were. 10/10 would recommend! <3
If I could give Clementine Catering more than a 5 star review I would! I cannot sign enough praises about the quality of service that Grace and the entire catering team provided for my husband and I and all of our friends and family on our wedding day. Grace was so sweet and so patient with me and all my questions and changes throughout the planning process. She put my mind at ease about so many aspects of the day! Not only did they handle all of our food and drinks, but they managed all of our rentals as well including ordering them, setting them up, and sending them back. The food and drinks were amazing! Guests couldn’t stop talking about how fresh everything tasted. Not only did everything taste amazing, but the presentation of everything was so beautiful and elegant. The service provided by all of the catering staff was out of this world, They were all so kind and very attentive to the needs of every person. I never once had to ask for more food or another drink. Whether it was Grace or any of the other staff members, they always made sure there was food on our plates and a drink in our hands! This night truly couldn’t have been more perfect, and we owe most of that to Clementine Catering! So, thank you Grace and all of Clementine Catering for such a perfect wedding day. You truly made this such a special day full of so many amazing memories, and we couldn’t be more grateful🤍
Grace and team catered and coordinated my daughter’s wedding, and what an absolutely fantastic job they did. Multiple people mentioned how good the food was, the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful, and the venue was just spectacular. Grace provided us with so much support; she definitely went above and beyond in the planning and that gave us so much confidence leading into the wedding. Much appreciated, and highly recommend.
Our experience with Clementine Catering and Events was outstanding. My husband and I got married at the Peterson Dumesnil House on a Friday evening in June. Everything was perfect! Grace was extremely helpful throughout the planning process, and she kept everything moving the day of the wedding. We could not have done it without her expertise and support! We chose to do a heavy apps reception, and the food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed! I highly recommend Clementine Catering!
My husband and I got married at the Peterson Dumesnil House this past Saturday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Grace was outstanding — she coordinated everything and constantly checked on us throughout the night to make sure we had what we needed. The catering was impeccable. The staff was professional and courteous, and the food was outstanding. The whole process from initial planning to the day itself was seamless and easy — highly recommend!
We had a celebration of life service on a Sunday morning in May. The venue was just gorgeous and the staff very helpful and friendly. They did a great job of setting everything up and making some last-minute adjustments when we needed them.
Words cannot not express how amazing Clementine Events and Catering were for my May 2026 wedding! They made our wedding absolutely perfect and the most magical day. The staff were so helpful and sweet. The food and drinks were AMAZING and Grace as our wedding coordinator made the day feel effortless. Truly could not recommend them enough!!
If you’re seeking an enlightened venue for an event in Louisville, the Pedersen-Dumensil House is it!! Beyond the magnificent historic structure, the delicious catering, and old-world ambiance was superb. Of special note, Grace, the on-site proprietor, oversees every minute detail ( Befitting of her name ) 😉 Brava!
We had our wedding here in October of 2025. It was such a great experience especially since my parents got married here as well almost 40 years ago. Grace and Steve went to lengths to make sure that we had everything exactly the way we wanted it for our big day. Highly recommend!
