This is a great climbing gym. The climbs are a bit more difficult than the climbs at the Steel Shop but the experience is infinitely better than anything Upper Limits has to offer.
10/10 would trust Zack M. with my life—and I literally did! Took the Intro to Climbing class with him in a cozy group of four, and it was absolute gold. Zack managed to cram a tons-of-fun vibe and all the essential safety info into one session without making it feel like a lecture. By the end, the four of us felt ready to tackle the walls completely solo. If you want to learn to scale fake rocks without falling on your face (and have a blast doing it), take Zack’s class!
Great gym for bouldering and lead climbing! Plenty of top rope and lead routes for when you're climbing with a partner. There are five short auto belays for new climbers, but only one tall auto for more experienced climbers. If you want to climb by yourself, there's not a lot of options.
Went with a group of boy scouts and the staff were all great with our boys that are a range of ages. There is a wide range of climbing levels offered and even those who rarely/never climb had an opportunity to experience the evening. Always a good time out here no matter who you go with.
Thanks, Cathie! Great to hear your group had a great time. We can't wait to see you back!
Great for kids with courage.
Cool place with a relatively challenging wall.
Poor environment. Cramped and unsatisfactory. Not to mention setup like a good ol' boys club. Take the time and drive to upper limits, they do it better.
Will be back to climb
Staff is always patient and awesome.
