CM Studio Interiors - Chicago Interior Designer

I worked with Magda and the Team on a brand new luxury build and they were an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. Kind, thoughtful, professional and all of the other qualities you could hope for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone

Carly and Rebecca have been so thorough and responsive throughout the design process, and are always receptive to changes. Their taste is impeccable and we have loved working with them. They have been able to bring our vision to life!

We wanted our newly purchased condo to reflect our style, and they delivered exactly that. Every room has its own purpose while maintaining a consistent look. It finally feels like our home instead of someone else's property.

I just adore everyone who works at CM Studio. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable about all things interiors, but they are so kind and understanding and just a joy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend!

AMAZING! CM Studio was talented, professional, communicative, transparent, and fun! I worked with Magda and Rebecca to put together a paint schedule and select some furnishings for my whole house. I had an idea for what I wanted and a desire to use lots of color, but no ablity to execute. When I came in for the presentation, they blew me away! It was exactly what I wanted and so much more. Absolutely recommend!!!

Magda helped us bring our 1890s Victorian home renovation to life, guiding us through every design decision along the way. From paint and stain colors to countertops, millwork and cabinetry design, plumbing fixtures, lighting, hardware, door knobs, bathroom vanities, tile, window treatments, wallpaper, and even select furniture pieces - she thoughtfully curated every detail with incredible style. We couldn’t be happier with how everything came together. Our home feels both timeless and personal, and we’ve truly enjoyed living in it since the moment we moved in. Magda is creative, responsive, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We truly couldn’t have completed this renovation without her and would highly recommend CM Studio to anyone considering a home renovation.

Working with Carly on our main floor renovation was one of the best decisions we made for our home. She brings a rare combination of talent, vision, and professionalism that made what could have been an overwhelming process feel genuinely fun and exciting. Our home is on the smaller side, and Carly has a true gift for creating spaces that feel expansive and serene. We walk through our front door now and immediately exhale; there's a sense of ease and rest in every room that we didn't know we were missing until we had it. Which is very necessary with two small kids! She managed to find creative storage options that worked WITH our life in important ways. She was also a dream to work with as a couple. My husband and I don't always see eye to eye on aesthetics, but Carly listened carefully to both of us and—with humor, directness, and candor—found genuine common ground that felt like us, not a compromise. She was ahead of every step, collaborated seamlessly with our design-build company, and kept the whole project moving with remarkable ease. Carly is a joy to work with. She lights up a room, has the most contagious laugh, and is frankly one of the sharpest people you'll ever work with. She has since grown into CM Studio Interiors, and if her new venture carries even a fraction of the same caliber, care, and style she brought to our project (and I have no doubt it does), they are no doubt the real deal. If you're in the Chicago area looking for an interior designer who delivers gorgeous, livable spaces with exceptional client care, Carly and her team are who you want to work with.

Carly and Ania made redoing my master and kids’ bathrooms effortless and fun! They understood my style, presented amazing options within budget, and were always responsive during the renovation. Everything turned out beautifully—I can’t recommend them enough!

Magda helped us renovate our kitchen and we’re so happy with how it turned out. She helped us redesign the layout, guided us on hiring the right contractor, and assisted with all the selections for the space. The new layout makes so much more sense and gives us so much more usable space, it’s hard to even remember what the old kitchen looked like. We’d absolutely recommend Magda and the CM Studio team if you’re planning a renovation big or small.

Working with Magda at CM Studio was such a fun and rewarding experience! She helped us completely reimagine our two-sided fireplace, which we wanted to update. With her great eye, Magda developed a thoughtful design plan, provided detailed drawings, and coordinated with our contractor by answering questions along the way to make sure the project was completed smoothly. The final fireplace design is absolutely perfect. The update completely transformed our space and made our entire first floor feel more cohesive and beautifully designed. We never imagined that we could love this unique space so much and it completely exceeded what we expected. Magda also helped us restyle our first floor, suggesting small but impactful interior design changes, like adding drapery, moving art, and shifting furniture, that we were able to implement immediately. One of my favorite moments was when she walked in and immediately started moving our furniture around - it was exactly what we needed and made such a difference. I have a smile every time i walk in the front door and we are enjoying our space much much more. If you're looking for a creative, thoughtful interior designer, I highly recommend Magda and the team at CM Studio for anyone considering an interior design update or home renovation.
