We had an excellent experience with Coastal Carrier moving from Rochester, NY, to Cary, NC. Ronnie, our sales representative, was professional from our first contact and went the extra mile to get us a great price and accommodate our tight moving timeline. On moving day, Jarbas and Armado were outstanding—professional, courteous, and efficient. My wife had specifically asked the team to take extra care of her mixer, and Armado made sure it arrived in pristine condition and personally placed it on the kitchen counter. We highly recommend Coastal Carriers for a long-distance move. The entire team delivered excellent service from start to finish!

Tom and his team did a fantastic job loading us in NC and delivering us in CO on time. Tom did an amazing piece of maneuvering getting his 18 wheeler into a tight alley. They also transported our car.

Started out great then went down quickly. They charged 10K for a move that was suppose to cost 6,800. They barely packed anything. They wrapped a lot of furniture. They kept 4 of my ladders and a hope chest (broke at pickup, they later delivered w/o my ladders or any other missing pieces) Too many missing pieces to list here. At delivery they tore up my brand new Vinyl floor. Make you sign the paperwork before you can look around to see what is missing. Then ask you to tip the workers for the hard work. In the mean time Claims representative will not call or email you back. So now we have to go to Small Claims Court for resolution. Dont let them put anything in second truck. Take pictures of everything before they come to load up.

I can’t say enough good things about Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage. Hunter and Blaine did an absolutely excellent job moving our furniture and were professional, careful, and hardworking from start to finish. Every piece of furniture was carefully wrapped and protected, and everything arrived in perfect condition—not a single scratch or broken piece. One of our pieces was exceptionally large and had to be carried up two flights of stairs. It was definitely a challenging move, but they handled it beautifully. They took their time, were extremely careful, and got it upstairs safely without damaging the furniture or our home. Hunter and Blaine were courteous, efficient, and clearly took pride in doing the job right. It’s wonderful to find a moving company that treats your belongings with such care. I would absolutely use Coastal Carrier Moving & Storage again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers. Five stars all the way! Also, I wanted to mention that Ronnie was so helpful scheduling everything for us. He answered all my texts and calls immediately. Such wonderful customer service!!

They are currently at my home moving my items. The consultation was an hour long at which they reviewed all our furniture TWICE! Our estimate was $7,500 and that’s a lot of money for a 2400sqft home but we saw the high ratings and figured it was worth it. We scheduled our moving date for MONDAY, and we received a text Saturday at 4pm stating they would be here SUNDAY for pickup. This put us in a panic with our kids and pets. When they arrived, it changed to $10,000. They acted like they were surprised by the amount of furniture even though we went through the list twice. We have to get a U-Haul and unit to store things they claim they can’t fit. This is a consultation and company issue. Maybe have people submit photos of their items or measurements. I do not recommend this company! *** UPDATE: Commenter below (James) is lying. This Coastal Carrier Movers contract out their pickups with other companies. Not only did they price gauge us onsite, but now are trying to delay returning our items. If you look them up on Reddit, you’ll see they’ve done this to lots of people. More than likely seeking legal action as they do not want to abide by their contract.
