⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re looking for professional wig installation and makeup, The Cocktails of Beauty is a must-visit! We came from Chicago for a special event and found out at the last minute that it was black-tie. Luckily, we found Mariam and her wonderful team! Despite the short notice, they made time for us and gave us their full attention. Mariam installed my Hairvivi Jacinda wig and did my makeup, and I couldn’t have been happier! I received so many compliments that evening. What I loved most about Mariam was her genuine personality, honesty, and passion for her work. I simply let her do what she does best, and she did an amazing job! If I lived here, I would find every excuse to come back just to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and wonderful service. Thank you, Mariam and your team, for taking such great care of us! You are definitely on my must-visit list whenever we’re in the area. Highly recommended! ❤️

I really wanted to give this more stars because the lady was incredibly nice, and she gave me a fantastic shampoo. Unfortunately, the overall service did not match the $75 I was charged. I asked for a good wash and trim, but I didn’t specifically say I wanted my hair styled afterward. I honestly didn’t realize I needed to clarify that. The shampoo was great, but the blow-dry was very basic—not a blowout or even a smoothing blow-dry—and the trim was minimal. When she told me she was finished, I was left with puffy, barely trimmed hair. Once I got home, I could see just how uneven my ends still were, with split ends that should have been trimmed. Imagine my surprise when she told me the total was $75! For a shampoo, basic blow-dry, and barely a trim? I’ve never paid that much for what felt like half a service. I take responsibility for not asking about the price or clarifying what was included beforehand. Had I known, I would have politely thanked her and gone somewhere else for a complete service. At the same time, I think it’s reasonable to expect some clarification about what a customer wants and what they’re actually paying for. Again, she was genuinely lovely, and I appreciated how well she washed my hair. But being nice doesn’t justify what I consider to be a grossly overpriced service. I left disappointed, especially knowing I still needed to have my hair properly trimmed and styled. Response to owners reply: Your response is actually more disappointing than the service itself. Had you carefully read my review, you would have understood that I acknowledged my mistake in not asking about pricing beforehand. I also complimented the stylist on being very nice and providing an excellent shampoo. My issue was never simply that you charge $75. My issue was the quality of the service I received for $75. I understand the difference between a basic blow-dry and a silk press, and I never suggested that I should have received a silk press for the price of a shampoo, blow-dry, and trim. However, a professional blow-dry should still leave my hair looking and feeling presentable, not puffy and unfinished. And while I understand that a trim is meant to remove split ends rather than significantly cut the hair, I should not have gone home with visibly uneven, split ends remaining. Rather than acknowledging those concerns, your response focused on defending your prices and explaining services I already understand. You are certainly entitled to set your own prices, but customers are equally entitled to expect quality work that reflects those prices. I initially wanted to give a higher rating because the stylist was genuinely pleasant. Unfortunately, your defensive response has only made me feel worse about spending money on a service that left me dissatisfied. Rest assured, I will not be returning. I simply hope you’ll consider that customer feedback isn’t always an attack on your business. Sometimes it’s an opportunity to improve.

Looooove this place!! One-stop shop, truly! First, they were extremely accommodating and managed to squeeze me in the SAME DAY! I requested braids. They saved me lol. Upon arriving they were kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was energetic although I was exhausted lol. I loved the energy that was exuding from the stylists. The braids came out lovely!!! I was so worried because I’ve had a few bad experiences but they put an end to that, real quick!!! I’m definitely going back! So glad I found this place.

Mary is such a kind and sweet soul. I called the shop unscheduled and last minute seeing if I could get my previous install from a different stylist taken down and redone and she was happy to assist, no attitude or frustration just professionalism and a warm welcome. She took her time with my wash which felt amazing and also put love and care into my install. Honestly this is the best sew in I've had in a while it's been almost two weeks and it somehow looks even more natural! I recommend and will be returning!

As a client who came back to this salon recently thats been almost 2 years ago , I decided to give it another try and get a frontal sew in wig that cost $160 , I told the stylist that " I DID NOT WANT NO GLUE ". Just the whole head to be sew in incase problems like this doesnt turn into a chaos . I get that you cannot sew in the edges cool but seeing that I can LIFT my frontal and it wasnt sew in is kinda a slap in my face because I felt like nowadays hairstylists just be wanting the money and not taking the time to really do the work that clients REQUESTED. there is no reason why I should be able to lift a finger or see the frontal slide back , the wig wasnt even on for a week . Fast forward i called the salon and stated the issues days later that I need to come back and have my frontal sew in thats what a client requested but instead her words was either , " YOU CANNOT SEW IN FRONTALS in a wig if it was a CLOSURE or bundles it would have stayed or you can come in on Wednesday and we can glue it down knowing i just told her i didnt want no glue. i may not have a degree in hair cosmetology but I know for a fact that this wig was suppose to be sew in not just the back , not just the front, the whole head. This is just how I feel with any salon in maryland why pay all this money for our hair to not even come out exactly how the client wants it. 🙃

After six months without washing my hair due to postpartum challenges, the Queen of Hair Care worked wonders! The shampoo and treatment were amazing. I recommend her 1,000%! ❤️

Calling all Divas Calling all Divas. This is the salon where you need to be at. This was the best sew in that I ever received in my life. Momma Mery hands are magical. She gave me celebrity treatment and great customer service. If you ain't in LA and you want the LA hair experience. You need to come see Mrs Mery. She is the best. If you dont like her work then so sorry you must have been a hater before you got in her chair because Mrs Mery giving out A++++work. If you think I am lying let these pictures speak for themselves. Where do I begin!? Finding Cocktails of Beauty was nothing BUT A BLESSING FROM GOD! 🙌🏾 Found them via a basic Google search for "salon near me" and what was intended for a temporary solution has become a permanent "we're family now and will always get our hair done here!".💯 I called randomly for a simple wash, blowdry, trim (no style) after 5p and was told we could come now! Whhhaaattt!!! 🏃🏽‍♀️ my daughter and I jumped in the car and went. My daughter was locked in immediately as soon as Mama Z started washing her hair 🤗 I waited comfortably in their seating area and worked while also chatting to and getting to know Mery the owner. 🙂 the establishment was conveniently located, clean, comfortably, inviting, and the staff was very friendly 🥰 I told Mery that my daughter wanted her hair braided for back to school and she let me know they would be running a special soon. Cool 😎 We made another appointment and returned. I brought MORE work this time because we were gonna be there at least 4-5 hours right!? NOPE!!! My daughter got smedium knotless and 2 hours in she was getting her hair dipped!!! And that included getting her hair washed and blow dried first!!! 😲 I couldn't believe it. We had a late evening appointment and walked out before it even started getting dark for real 🤯 If I had to make a complaint it would that I didn't even get through HALF the work I brought! 😤🤦🏾‍♀️🤣🤗 Please please please go to Cocktails of Beauty and get your hair done!!!
