This was my second home that I worked with Jennifer to remodel. It was a whole house remodel, Jennifer and I spent hours working on stone, wood floors, cabinets, hardware, plumbing fixtures, appliances, light fixtures, tile, wallpaper, paint colors, drapes, art and furniture. She walked me through every detail, had a very definite vision of the house for me personally, presented me several options, listened to what I had to say and delivered everything she said and more. She designed the wine room, incorporated unique design elements, selected furniture and completed the room with glassware she picked just for me. Jennifer has developed relationships with trades that have worked with her for years, bringing resources and capabilities to the design that are prompt, efficient and do fantastic work. The house is beautiful, her decorating skills are amazing and I'm very happy.

We have had a wonderful experience working with Jennifer Colby. Jennifer first helped us redecorate our entire lower level in 2020, and we were so pleased with the results that we recently asked her to return and decorate all five bedrooms on our upper level. Jennifer has an exceptional eye for design and a real talent for understanding her clients’ style while bringing fresh ideas and creativity to the process. She is thoughtful, professional, responsive, and pays great attention to every detail. Most importantly, she creates spaces that are not only beautiful but also comfortable and reflective of how we live. The fact that we chose Jennifer again several years after our first project speaks for itself. We couldn’t be happier with the transformation of our house to a home and would highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a talented and trusted interior designer.

If you are looking for a designer then look no further than Colby Interior Design. Jennifer is a talented designer who listens to her clients and creates beautiful spaces. We needed help finishing our home (formal dining furniture, lighting, art, accessories, and decor for multiple rooms). And, Jennifer did a fabulous job. We do not live in the Metroplex, but that was not a problem. Jennifer traveled to our hometown to assess our needs and preferences. We did make one trip to Dallas to shop and look at furniture, wallpaper, fabrics and art: it was a fun and educational experience. Following the trip, Jennifer emailed photos and design concepts; she also mailed samples of fabrics, wallpaper, wood finishes, etc. Jennifer exceeded our expectations. She helped us create a beautiful and comfortable home. I would definitely use Jennifer in any future design project.

My wife and I looked many places for a designer to freshen the look of our house. When we looked at her website, we felt what she did in those houses is what we wanted. She did what we needed by listening to us and then providing us options for updating 7 rooms including kitchen, family room (now great room), dining and more is such a joy to see the transformation that was done. Having her make recommendations to keep existing cabinets in our kitchen but paint them, install new hardware, and juggle some cabinets helped us save cost but surprisingly gave us exactly what we wanted. She helped save everywhere while giving us an elegance that was not there before. I highly recommend Jennifer for her design knowledge as well as the outstanding contractors she uses.

Jennifer is one of a kind. She has an eye for things that is superb. She thought of things I never even dreamed about or knew that I wanted! She is color certified and it certainly shows. She was extremely helpful in narrowing down choices if they became overwhelming (my husband is colorblind). She acts as your project manager and finds all the best contractors. If any unexpected issues come up, she immediately addresses them and gets them rectified. I could go on and on. She is the best! You will be very happy with how your house looks after she is done!

After interviewing several different designers, we retained Jennifer Colby to redecorate several rooms in our Preston Hollow home. Even though we had used the services of other interior designers before, we had no idea there were so many beautiful options available to choose from until Jennifer presented us with her plans and suggestions. Jennifer designed and had custom created all new light fixtures throughout our home, worked with us on sourcing all new furniture, found the most amazing area rugs that blended in beautifully with our home, and topped it all off with dozens of unique and beautiful accessories. She also worked with amazing artists to design and commission custom paintings and frames. Jennifer was actually involved in the process of choosing what objects the artist should paint including colors, so the artwork blended beautifully with everything else in our home. Without changing a single structural thing, Jennifer literally transformed our home into an updated, gorgeous, and beautifully renovated showpiece. Throughout the whole process, she listened to what we liked and collaborated with us each step of the way. Although Jennifer custom designed and built new furniture that allowed us to add a unique element to the house, she also retained many pieces of our original furniture by reupholstering them with new fabrics and pillows which saved a lot of money while giving the furniture a whole new look. Jennifer is very communicative, creative, and dynamic. There is absolutely nothing “cookie-cutter” about Jennifer’s approach and how she transforms a home. Her relationships with every type of vendor and supplier imaginable run deep which makes the whole process so much easier than it is with other more run of the mill designers. Our projects stayed on time throughout and absolutely exceeded all expectations. We ended up totally loving everything Jennifer did for us and would use her services and incredible sense of style again in a heartbeat. In our opinion, Jennifer Colby is truly in a total class of her own when it comes to interior designing any living space - - indoors or outdoors. She is tireless and takes an enormous amount of pride in what she does. Simply put, no other designer in the Dallas area comes close to Jennifer Colby’s level of expertise, creativity, and exquisite taste.

My family were moving from Maryland to Texas for my job and needed a place. Once we bought our home, we knew it needed a lot of cosmetic renovations but we were not confident they could all be done before our move-in date, given that we would be working remotely. This is when Jennifer offered her expertise and made the process so much easier for us. Jennifer helped us interview various contractors (painters, electrician, flooring companies), obtain quotes, pick out materials, and facilitated the entire renovation while working as our eyes and ears. She worked within our budget and offered different options based on our style preference. Once we saw the finished design and the huge difference it made in our home, we were so thankful for all of her help. If you're in a similar situation as us, moving from out of state and needing help renovating your home prior to move in, or just considering updating your home, I would definitely recommend Jennifer!

I have been working with Jennifer on a home that we recently purchased and are currently remodeling. Jennifer has been a tremendous help in bringing ideas to the table and helping create a vision for our forever home. She has brought design ideas to the table that would have never occurred to us without her expertise in the design field. Her creativity has gone above and beyond!
