Friendly knowledgeable veterinarians and office gal. Thanks to Colfax animal hospital our old lab Daisy is doing great with insulin for her diabetes and our cat Nalia is bouncing back with antibiotics and steroids.

This is an amazing veterinary office. Nikki and Austin are both extremely knowledgeable as well as very transparent. I love how they take the time to explain exactly what they’re looking at on test results, x-rays, etc. The rest of the staff are also extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I always know my pets will be in good hands. I seriously can not recommend this practice enough. I have gone to various vets over the years with different pets, and they are one of the best in the area by far. They are very good at making time for appointments- even unexpected ones. Their prices are more than fair. They are just awesome, and I am so glad we have vets like them in the area ❤️ Thank you ❤️

The most compassionate veterinary clinic I have ever been to. They put your pet's wellbeing before the almighty dollar which is rare nowadays. Can't say enough positive things about the vets and reception staff.

Called about my dog who needed to be seen asap and when I called I tried talking to the lady who answered the phone about the seriousness of her condition and why I was concerned and she literally cut me off in mid sentence to inform me that she wouldn’t be able to get me in till the following week! My dog couldn’t wait to be seen 6 days later she wouldn’t be alive if she had. I understand this is a smaller vet, but there should always be even small time slots every day to accommodate for issues that come up unexpectedly especially when you’re in a more remote town such as this one. My brother liked them for routine checks with his dog and recommended them, but after very clearly only being a ‘number’ them, that’s not the experience I want with my dog who is family to me. I want someone who understands how much she means to me and will atleast listen to my concern and discuss it with the vet prior to responding ding with the ‘next appointment is a week from now…’ Called Oakwood Hills Animal Hospiral right after and they immediately shared their empathy, talked to the vet and their team before coming back on the line with an appointment they had squeezed me into based on her condition. Their entire team was caring, empathic, and treated her like she was their own from the minute I called. You’d think a smaller vet would be more like this for its atmosphere…
