Matt and his team created the dreamiest and most wonderful wedding photos and video for my husband and I! Matthew and Justin were a calming yet exciting force in our wedding day in July. We got married up on Vail Mountain at the Holy Cross Event Deck, and hosted our cocktail/reception at Donovan Pavilion. The pair began filming around 1:30pm, so my bridal party and the groomsmen were just about ready to go and it was the perfect time for them to join our wedding day. Matthew was a hit with my bridesmaids and made me feel comfortable opening up with vow reading and sharing a bit more about mine and Blake's relationship. Once the ceremony was finished and we really dug in to group photos, Matthew and Justin were right there in the action - making us feel supported and taken care of. We're so excited to see the final product and appreciate how cool, easy going and thoughtful they were. We felt spoiled having such a great crew capture and bring our wedding day to life! We’re so thrilled with the wedding video Ampersand Family created for us! They really captured the spirit of all the events and so many raw, emotional moments with our family and friends. Watching the video feels like we’re back there, experiencing it all over again. Our wedding was a mix of Indian, Chinese, and American cultures, and they did an amazing job bringing that out in the video. Even with some tricky lighting—like dealing with the sun or transitioning between indoor and outdoor shots—they nailed it. I was the Wedding Planner for a NYE wedding at The Broadmoor, and we selected Ampersand Family for cinema. Most reviews are probably from Bride & Grooms, but I thought a Planner's perspective may be helpful for some! Not only was the end product absolutely amazing (one of the best wedding films I have seen), but Matthew's professionalism and light-hearted personality made him such a delight to work with. I remember the Bride & Groom requested a more upbeat Third Eye Blind song for their video and Matthew noted that it would be a first for him (and a slight challenge), as most couples select a slower love song. When I watched the video, I cried the entire time (happy tears). He did such an amazing job and he has quickly become my #1 recommendation for cinematography.
