Visitors consistently highlight the immersive, naturalistic habitats and well-designed enclosures for gorillas, hippos, and primates. Reviewers note that staff members and guides provide informative interactions, enhancing the viewing experience, while the adjacent food court offers quick service and varied dining options. Brown Bear Habitat
The Congo Expedition at the Columbus Zoo is amazing! It’s like stepping into an African rainforest, with lush, immersive habitats for the animals. The enclosures are well-designed, offering great views of the gorillas, hippos, and other wildlife. It’s a fantastic experience that really brings you up close to these incredible creatures in a naturalistic setting.
The day center program took us to the Columbus Zoo and we had a great time at the zoo
7/08/2024. This is a great area of the zoo. Awesome enclosures.
Legendary monkey and ape facilities.
Liked this part too. Expected more congos though, but its okay.
love it
So many animals.
Its a great food court right outside the gorilla section of the zoo! Lots of good food options and fast service.
Another great section of the zoo. The animals have a lot of space and seemed pretty active, despite the cold.
