Customers frequently praise the company for punctual arrivals, clear communication, and professional service during lighting installations, panel upgrades, and repairs. Reviews highlight fair pricing and thorough explanations of electrical issues. A recurring criticism involves administrative errors, such as incorrect equipment installation or high hourly rates compared to local competitors, though some customers noted that staff were still polite and efficient despite these billing concerns.

Justin came out today to help us with an ongoing circuit breaker problem. He diagnosed and fixed the issue within about an hour. He was on time, early even, gave us notice he was on his way and was extremely knowledgeable and professional when he arrived. it was great to have our problem diagnosed and fixed the same day. Thank you Justin for your knowledge and skill set. If we have any problems in the future, we will definitely be calling Cornelius Electrical Contractors.

We had to find a new electrical contractor because the one we've used for years went out of business. And what a FIND! Cornelius Electrical professional and kind! They even called from their truck when they arrived so they didn't upset my dog with the doorbell! Thank you!

I was referred here from Certified Plumbing. Had a minor issue that revealed some very improper wiring throughout my home. Jacob and Gary were pretty quick considering the scope of work, and were super cool. Would recommend.

Excellent and professional company. I contacted Cornelius Electrical Contractors for a whole house, multi-tiered surge suppression system. The company came out and provided a detail break down of the proposed equipment and the operations of the proposed solution. The provided quote was in my view a good price, especially for the quality made in the USA components they were installing. The scheduling process was easy and I like their notification process when the Electricians are on their way. Electricians Justin and Sean are a testament to the company. Both did a very neat job installing, both double checked, and tested their work and went over the operations again. They are knowledgeable and engaging. I highly recommend this company for all your electrical needs.

Cornelius electric is about 2/3 of the way done with a big job and I don't even need to wait till it's completed to give this review. From the quoting and communication to Justin and Sean coming out to do the work. It has been the best experience working with a contractor for services that I have had in a very very long time. Their work is precise and neat making drywall repairs easy and they have been very considerate while working in my home. I have future electrical jobs that I will need them to complete and it's a not even a question about bidding it out. Unless something drastic changes Cornelius electric will be the company I use from now on.
