Google reviewers rate the practice 4.9 out of 5 stars, frequently praising the staff for their friendliness, thorough examinations, and clear communication regarding diagnoses and treatment options. Clients also highlight the availability of flexible payment plans and reasonable pricing compared to other regional clinics. However, a small number of low-star reviews criticize unexpected billing for unrequested tests and instances of poor wait time management or dismissive front desk interactions.

Dr. Mhoon is an excellent veterinarian who took the time needed for thorough, unhurried exam. She explained her diagnoses clearly and the various treatments available. Tara(?) the technician was very friendly and helpful in helping us understand procedures and the common afflictions of our dog’s breed.
From walking in to being seen, everyone was so kind and helpful. They took their time and answered questions. I really feel that you all go above and beyond.
Great place for pets and their humans.

I absolutely adore this vet office. My pups have seen every one of their veterinarian’s and we’ve never had less than an amazing experience. The kindness and love for animals does not go unnoticed. We will continue to drive the hour distance to go here!

Cornwallis Animal hospital is GREAT. Very professional, thorough they listen to your needs and come plans that will work for you and your dog. And the best part is they offer monthly pay plans that cover a lot of services. It helps when money is tight. Highly recommend.
