DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! The teacher was extremely rude and toxic. They advertise this as a same-day certification, but that’s not true! I didn’t receive anything until I started calling them myself the next day.<br>The class is held in a very small room where you’re literally sitting elbow-to-elbow with other people. The teacher was rude, spoke very quietly, and it was difficult to understand him because of his accent.<br>And you can see how many bad reviews there are about this particular teacher so this is clearly not just my subjective opinion.<br><br>Honestly, it was a terrible experience. Don’t waste your money and time here!!!!!
Please don’t waste your time with this company. I took a class to renew my BLS card took the exam and passed. The Instructor said the card should be emailed next business day. I never got it. I ultimately received a refund, but only after spending far too much time trying to figure out what was going on. My emails went unanswered, and there was no proactive communication explaining that CPR cards couldn’t be issued or outlining the available options. The representative on the phone was rude after saying I was going to receive a confirmation for my refund she hung up before I was able to ask how. 2 minutes later I received an email. A simple email updating customers would have saved everyone time and frustration
Instructor Atunde was very rude to me and singled me out many times.He was very demanding. He also threatened to not give me my certificate after falsely accusing me of “not complying”. He accused me of not complying because I accidentally did the CPR procedure wrong. I assured him that I was here to learn and didn’t want any issues. He was very impolite about us making mistakes.
Instructor was very detailed oriented however he was very condescending and changed his answers when asked to explain why my answers were incorrect. Instructor was Aitunde Okunuga. Also not to mention he threatened to “allow us to pass the class and not get the certification” and when asked for clearer instructions he said to “respect his age” and that I didn’t need to be “difficult”. For an MD I’m truly appalled by his behavior.
The class was ok and so was the instructor but I never received my ceritifcate and the course was definitely taken at CPR Certification Chicago. After contacting them directly, they are telling me that they don't have record of me taking the course even though my wife and I both paid for the course, filled out the sign in sheet at the start of the course and spent a half day out of our schedule to take this course and passed the exam. I've contacted CPR Certification Chicago and they informed me that someone would be reaching back out to me but of course, no one has. That is not ok and I would not recommend this facility.

This course was the best price I could find for an in person class. The instructor was a doctor and very informative and made it very easy to understand. Totally recommend!
