Critters, Reptiles & Exotics is the coolest! There so many awesome pets and kind employees. The enclosure setups are zoo quality. I had so much fun looking at all the animals I was hoping to find my first tarantula, specifically I was after about a 1.5 inch young juvenile Chaco Golden Hair. They had one. I have seven Regius Phiddipus jumping spiders and now I have a young tarantula. I am very pleased! Thankyou kindly. -Jason-

Normally I’m not a fan of pet stores that carry live animals, especially chain ones. However, this store absolutely blew me away with their expansive knowledge and true devotion to their animals. I got my three beautiful mice here yesterday and they were perfectly healthy and curious! It’s evident they truly care for each and every animal they have in store and want them to go to loving homes. They were even kind enough to hold the mice for me from Wednesday until I could pick them up this weekend. The staff were extremely warm and helpful. I really enjoyed talking with them about the mice! For anyone looking to purchase supplies or get a new pet from a reliable, ethical place, I wholeheartedly recommend this pet store. I would definitely go back in the future for more mice! Unfortunately it is quite far away from me or I’d go more often for supplies as well.
Chris and AJ are AMAZINGGGG!! I got my beardie from here back in April, and everyone was so knowledgeable and made sure I had the correct setup and everything before I took little Draco home. You can tell that Chris and his staff care about animals. I particularly didn’t want to go to PetSmart to get a bearded dragon because they typically come from breeding mills. Chris and AJ were very transparent about where they get their reptiles from. I even called for advice about my leopard gecko, and Chris walked me through everything! I can’t rave enough about this place. I tell EVERYONE to get their critters from Chris and his amazing team 😊

So glad I found this store. I have reptiles and they have everything I need. If you are a beginner reptile keeper, head here. They will get you squared away with everything you need at a great price. The staff is always willing to help and answer any questions you might have. This place is also really just neat overall! They have some pretty cool exhibits and a variety of reptiles and birds to look at!
After suggesting it to my son, he wanted to get some sort of reptile as a pet. He did a couple months of research to figure out what to get, and everything that was needed. He landed on a Crested Gecko. We got most of what is needed to take care of the gecko once it arrived and then found where to buy the actual gecko. We landed on Critters, Reptiles & Exotics based on their website and great reviews. We just left after picking up Frederick the Crested Gecko🦎 …from Frederick, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The owner helped us pick the right gecko at the age my son wanted. He also helped us get a few odds and ends that we still needed for the terrarium. This is a great spot where knowledge and customer service is still valued in a day and age where boutique retail like this is a dying art. My only regret is not buying the terrarium and the rest of the supplies here instead of ordering it online prior to finding this place.
