Steven was an excellent tech. Did the job, advised the best usage, cleaned the glass, took care to not allow any soot onto the carpet. Offered to come back free of charge if we experience smoke in the living room. Will definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone needing fireplace maintenance.

Nothing good. Starting with the arrival of the service guy, he argued about parking. He felt entitled to leave his van in the middle of the driveway blocking the seven other garages access. Then the "free" inspection. All that was was measuring the hearth and looking inside the fireplace. Then it's "well it kinda looks ok'. We had told the person who made the appointment we wanted the chimney inspected as well. The service person said that the people who answer their phones don't know anything. That costs $150.00! Nothing useful is free. It's a get in the door trick. We're considering upgrading to an electric fireplace and invited Crown Up to bid. Received an "estimate" that was over $5000 MORE than our other 2 bids. Two and a half times more expensive! Lots of unsavory terms like"you have to pay us 30% down before we will tell you when we can schedule the job". Not a company we would do business with.

Our experience with Mace the technician and the company was very positive. He arrived at the designated time, listened to my concerns and explained the process. He then went up on the roof and made the necessary repairs in the chimney. He has a very relaxed and pleasant personality, communicates well and represented his company very well.
