The service is outstanding. The office reps are helpful in any scheduling conflicts and the service men are on time, they know what they are doing and they are very helpful. I would not use any other service company.

The technician was knowledgeable and very friendly. There was a minor issue with the system (that had gone undetected by us) which he diagnosed and fixed on the spot. I highly recommend Culligan to anyone who desires to have one less thing to worry about in an already large or busy household.

We had culligan come out to our house. I will never use them again and hope no one else does because Sean was very very creepy and disrespectful and downright disgusting. He was hitting on my daughter who just graduated high school and cussed me out when I confronted him. Please stay clear of this place.

At a time when high tech lowers customer service, Culligan's Crystal Lake location is one of the near extinct businesses you can call without reaching an automated system, talk to a live human, and be served by friendly people happy to do their job rather than self-service with clock punching drones that make it your job to do theirs. Michelle provided outstanding customer services by 1) being a human, 2) happily fetching the sediment, carbon block, reverse osmosis “membrane,” and post carbon block filters needed for our Aqua-Cleer drinking water system, and 3) having them ready for customer pick up the next morning. Being a science geek, I like that you can bring in a water sample the staff can test for total dissolved solids (TDS) on site. After five years, our RO system was at 125 TDS, so I installed the recommended membrane. That capillary line is a doozy. I like that Culligan is not a global corporation, they started locally in Northbrook, Illinois. The staff embody Midwest hospitality, a little kindness goes a long way. To indulge my curiosity, I sawed the old sediment filter in half to see if it would ooze with black gunk. Not really, there’s a porous core in the cylinder. At $336, replacing the filters ain’t cheap but clean, safe, and pure-tasting water is a “luxury” we enjoy everyday. You notice the difference when you go to restaurants and the chlorinated water tastes like a backyard swimming pool. Thank you for your commitment to good ol’ fashioned customer service, I appreciate the helpful text message reminders, but human to human service is irreplaceable.

Gary was phenomenal - courteous, informative and knowledgeable. James installed the unit quickly, prompt, neat and organized. We noticed results (softener) in a day. We are so pleased with Gary, James and Culligan - we ordered the RO 3 days later after referring our neighbor.
