Had a different replace (in middle of the night) a failed sump pump. They were amazing, and prompt . Charged 250 for the pump and after hours service?? Well, that is too little. Sump pump failed again 6 years later, could not recall who the first company was, unfortunately, and called D n R. They came out, replaced pump...yes middle of the night again! This time, when done, I asked "how much"? And one of the fellas did the ol' sales trick of saying a big price so that everything price wise LOWER than that is more 'acceptable'. He said "1800"....laughed, and then said 800 plus (almost 900). I know was middle of the night, but that was too high for the 25 min job...even at 1 am. Folks...that was 7 or so years ago, also. Maybe I am outta touch but seems like both places should have charged 4 or 500 for after hours work. Or at least not have greasy sales crap in the settle up
Hi Jeffery, We are trying to find ur work ticket but do not see one under your name, but the part on the 1800 plus was what we hears other companies were charging for pumps that during that last crazy storm. I am more than happy review the charges with you if u can call me back and we can go over the work ticket and I am sure that I can work something out with you to make u happy and call us in the future. I can work within your wishes if u can give me a call so I can work this out with u to verify the ticket. I can assure u that 800 to 900 for pump to be replaced during afte hours is not extreme, but again more than happy to review it with you once u call me. Thanks for your comments. I was in a jam with a natural gas leak inside my basement. I called a couple other plumbers and got AI chat bots who couldn’t understand my problem or get me immediate service. 🙄 I prayed and called D&R Plumbing. A human answered and not just any human…but the one who runs the business! It was after normal business hours but he understood the urgency and offered to come take a look. Here’s what I know. He didn’t hand me off to someone else and followed through on his commitment. This old school mentality has gained my business and should yours!
Richard came in a timely fashion and fixed my toilet and made sure it wasn’t still running before he left. I can always depend on them!
