I had gone on a weekend to this salon, and had a good experience, so I recommended this place to my sister and mom! They went during the week, my mom was told that her hair was too thin and couldn't get layers done unless she cut mor and the lady only trimmed like 2 inches and didn't even attempt layers it seems. Looked horrible. Blunt cut. She was charged 35 and then had to pay another 35 at another salon to fix her hair and they cut layers really nice.. so not sure what happened there. My sister's hair came out okay, she got layers and a trim a little uneven, the lady curled her hair and charged 35. Which was fair, but charged my mom the same for nothing. It's upsetting because i recommended this place.
I am very sorry for what happened. Sometimes, as stylists, we offer advice to our clients based on what we believe is the best approach, though it can happen that a client is not fully satisfied with the final result. In this instance, I felt it was best not to add layers, as doing so would have reduced the hair's density. Unfortunately, my recommendation did not meet your mother’s expectations. I truly wish she had felt comfortable enough to tell me at the time that she wasn't happy with the cut; I would have been more than happy to add layers or trim a few more inches off the length. Once again, please accept my apologies, and thank you for visiting D Salon.
