Dave Pearl Music

David is an excellent music teacher. He is patient, understanding, encouraging and non-judgmental. He works with his students instead of teaching at them. David chooses music that is not only educational but is also interesting to his students. He has a wide range of music - Jewish, Jazz, Classical and others. I studied with him for 2-1/2 years and made great progress. David's teaching goes beyond technique, he also helps his students get into and feel the music. He encourages his students to improvise and develop their own musical selves.

Dave is incredibly reliable—always on time, always prepared, and always bringing a warm, uplifting presence into our home. He engages so naturally with each of my children, meeting them where they are and gently guiding them forward with encouragement, patience, and genuine enthusiasm. They absolutely love their lessons with him and often continue playing long after he leaves. What sets Dave apart is not just his musical expertise, but his ability to create a joyful and inspiring learning environment. He makes the piano feel exciting and accessible, and it’s been beautiful to watch my kids grow in both skill and confidence under his guidance. I wholeheartedly recommend Dave to any family looking for a kind, dependable, and highly effective piano and drum teacher. He’s a gem

Dave is patient, positive, and professional, knowing what skills to hone in on at what time, always encouraging the student, and explaining the material. He motivates my kids by finding music they can and want to play even at the beginner level.

David is an exceptional music teacher! He is patient, clear, and enthusiastic about what he teaches. He is giving them both skills a wonderful musical foundation and they’re really learning to appreciate it from him. My kids look forward to their lesson all week long!

Highly recommend Dave as a piano and percussion teacher. He taught my 7yo active son and I learned so much myself listening in (I’m a professional cellist and music teacher myself.) my son always looked forward to his lessons. Dave managed to combine piano methodology with fun improv and rhythm studies in a seamless and natural way. My son especially loved his lessons because Dave is ‘cool’ and ‘can play anything’. Communication was excellent was well as always being punctual and confirming everything beforehand. Can’t recommend him enough.

David is an excellent piano teacher! He is professional, flexible in working with children, and builds a great rapport with his students. Highly recommend!

Professional, competent, patient. A wonderful teacher. I appreciate his patience with my children- who have learned music skills from Mr. Pearl.

David is an exceptional piano teacher! He has transformed our son into a musician! Our son looks forward to each lesson and feels confident at the keyboard thanks to the skills David has given him!

Excellent Music Teacher. Highly recommend.

Great teacher who is very patient and fun to work with. He also shares many resources to be able to practice outside of the weekly lessons and is available for any questions during the week. He is dedicated to see everyone grow in music in a way that feels authentic to them. Would recommend.
