We couldn't be happier with the Kris and his team. The addition built for our home is beyond amazing! Our new screened-in porch for our hot tub and outdoor shower have completely transformed our backyard into a peaceful little retreat. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding, and the entire project turned out even better than we imagined.
From the start Kris was able to sketch the vision my husband had in his head. His team was professional, easy to work with, and kept us informed throughout the process. If you're looking for quality work and a contractor who truly cares about the finished product, we highly recommend Davis Design & Build. We look forward to enjoying our new outdoor space for years to come!

From the first moment that I met Chris, I knew that he would be able to make my dreams a reality with a renovation that I had envisioned and tried to put into place for several years. After meeting with multiple vendors, contractors and being discouraged at every turn, I reached out to DAVIS design and build. I saw their sign at another job site and noticed what appeared to be the lead contractors vehicle was there consistently. I work in real estate and property management and it’s deeply important to me that the lead of projects is aware of what’s happening at their properties and this proved to me that it was part of what this company implemented.
They were very few things that I suggested that Kris was not able to make work. Even with weather delays and life, we were able to complete the project in a timely manner and within the budget that was discussed.
I can’t end this review without referencing McKenzie and what an critical part of the process she was. She was an attentive, patient, communicative, and an overall champ.
Thank you guys! You knock the socks off of everyone that comes to our house and I can honestly say that I don’t need to go anywhere as Home is my favorite place.

Kris and his team have been great to work with. They were very easy to communicate with, we discussed all the options to create the estimate for our renovation. The estimate was spot on for the expectations and the additional costs for the unknown rot that was found were very reasonable. I appreciated the detail going into the estimate and the communication to understand what our expectations were and the teams delivery.
The team started on our project earlier than expected and finished within the estimated window for the project. This team actually shows up, works a full day and complete work with skill. We were very pleased with the work and excited to keep enjoying our house without the worry of a rotting floor underneath us. We will definitely use this team again and will encourage others to use them as well!

They truly helped bring all of our design dreams to life and were incredibly accommodating every step of the way.
We are so happy with how everything turned out and would a recommend Kris and his team to anyone looking for a contractor they can trust.

Davis Design & Build did an amazing renovation for us. Everything ended up just as we had hoped for and some parts even better!
Kris was quick and timely with design, demolition, construction, ordering fixtures, etc. Also, he listened well and purchased/installed to our liking.
Kris or his assistant were often on site managing things and insuring quality work. He is quite gifted in bringing a vision to life!

Kris and his team were so helpful throughout the entire renovation process. The kitchen remodel and fence they did for me has made home ownership so much more enjoyable and they truly made my vision come true. Couldn’t ask for a better team to work with during a process that has so many moving parts. Their expertise and eye for design is unmatched!

Kris and his team were great to work with. We demoed our existing garage and re built from the ground up. The crew was very clean, polite, and skilled in their work. The quality of their work is some of the best I have experienced. Kris is on the job himself frequently, he responds to texts and emails in the same day. Communications were very clear and he ensures the customer understands. His team shows up on time and when scheduled, including subs. We highly recommend Davis Design & Build. If you need a personal reference please ask Kris for our contact info.

Working with Kris and his team was an outstanding experience. Renovation on an older home -- one loaded with family memories and feelings -- isn't a job for just any contractor. But from the start Kris understood what we hoped for, kept in great communication, and ensured quality at each step of the project. He and his crew combine all the needed practical skills with the ability to listen, to adapt the project if new questions arise, and with respect for the space and those who built in it before them. We went from apprehension to joy, as this project emerged from a concept to a reality. Many, many thanks!

Kris and his team were amazing. My wife and I entrusted them to do a very extensive renovation of our farmhouse, which has been in my family for nearly 200 years and is very dear to my heart. We were very impressed by Kris's professionalism, his work ethic, and the level of craftsmanship that he and his whole team demonstrated. The work was done in a timely fashion. We had no cost overruns. And frankly it was just a great pleasure to work with Kris. I also cannot say enough about the guys that work with him-- true master craftsmen, but also very kind and respectful, important attributes to old folks like us! This house means so much to me-- my mother was born here. I spent so much of my childhood here with my grandmother. I was nervous about having such a large renovation done-- but this was a great experience. And this old house is now truly beautiful again.

Davis Design & Build has completed several projects to update and repair my 1986 home. Always a pleasure to deal with, Kris is professional, knowledgeable and always responsive to calls and texts. One vendor commented, “he’s one of the good guys.” I highly recommend.
