I had a very disappointing experience with Cosmo Law’s scheduling and customer service. A couple of weeks ago, I called and was given an appointment for September 17. I explained that I had an urgent criminal matter and asked whether anything sooner was available. The representative told me she would keep the September 17 appointment and also place me on a waiting list for an earlier opening. When I called back to follow up because nobody had contacted me, I was suddenly told that September was completely booked and the earliest appointment was now in October. I specifically asked what happened to the September 17 appointment I had already been given. I was told that because I had been placed on the waiting list, they had apparently given away my scheduled appointment. That is not what I agreed to. I clearly asked to keep September 17 while also being considered for an earlier cancellation. I spent approximately half an hour trying to explain this and asking them to honor the appointment they had already scheduled. Eventually, I asked to speak with a manager. I was transferred to what appeared to be an empty line, and the call was then disconnected. For a law firm dealing with people who may have urgent and time-sensitive legal matters, this level of scheduling confusion and communication is unacceptable. If an appointment is confirmed, clients should be able to rely on it unless the firm clearly tells them otherwise. I would not recommend relying on this office for a time-sensitive matter based on my experience.
Hello Mohamed. You contacted our office to schedule a consultation, which was scheduled for September 17th. You wanted to be seen sooner, so we placed you on our waiting list in case we had any cancellations we could fit you into. On August 27th, you called and said you wanted your appointment moved to September 12th, which is a Saturday, because you are a flight attendant and our office needed to be more accommodating to your ever-changing schedule and that Saturdays were better for you. We explained again that we are not open on weekends, and when you insisted on being scheduled within that same week instead of your September 17th appointment, we explained that it was not possible as the attorney had court and pre-existing client appointments. We have hundreds of clients and their cases take priority over consultations. You are not a client, so we were unable to give you the appointments you wanted, and we are also not open on weekends, so we could not see you on a Saturday. We try to be as accommodating as possible to consultations, but we do warn all consultations when they call to schedule that their appointments may be moved if we get scheduled to appear in court with our clients. Our clients are facing time-sensitive issues every day, and our schedule must remain open to them and their cases before we take on new business. You were very angry on the phone and you then resorted to insulting our receptionist by saying she did not speak good enough English for you. Because of that, and your need to be seen on weekends, we believed you would be better served by another law firm and told you that we would not be seeing you in our office at any point. We wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors.

Amazing law firm 100 percent. I would highly recommend this Descomo Law and the staff very helpful. They all went above and beyond for me and my husband’s case. He got his green card because of them working hard and pushing . Great customer service to the max !! They will work hard to help you no matter what . We started out with problems and they helped us resolve them. Everyone come see them !! Leonela was always checking our case and helped us out a lot .
