Great service and work from Deon Design for our retail/office build out. The office staff and owner are extremely knowledgeable and helped avoid problems. Every build has hiccups and they responded to each of them with professionalism and speed - allowing us to complete the work with no added costs from the initial estimate. Final punchlist process was also very detailed and responsive and the owner stands by the work after the job is complete. Excellent delivery from the team.

Deon Design did an amazing job with the buildout for my start up veterinary hospital. They were involved with every step of the process from navigating permits and local government to designing the interiors. The whole team was extremely helpful, they kept me informed every step of the way, and I always felt that I could trust them. We did a full buildout for the office and when anything unexpected came up they dealt with it quickly and efficiently. Best experience with a contractor that I have ever had.

Deon Design Custom Builders has provided us with excellent service. This is a late review from over a year ago and I apologize for not doing it sooner, but this gives them even more credit since the owner has responded to our calls recently. Our contract to complete the project was for over 4 months over our negotiations, but he delivered before the 4 months agreement, to be exact at 2 weeks. He would have delivered the job even before if it wasn't for the town's tedious requests and rescheduling.
We did not find any surprises pricing wise. They handled everything with Transparency and honesty as written in the contract. Their staff and design team were very open minded, listened to all of our requests, ideas and always treated us with professionalism and were able to transcribe our requests and coordinated everything with quality. One more thing I have to mention is that they built the store inside out from plumbing, electrical, hood and fire safety installations, you name it...
They were one of the three bidders on this project, they weren't the cheapest at the bidding, but we have learned over the years from other projects that the cheapest isn't necessarily the cheapest. We got very high quality product for a very decent price. The most important aspect to me on a project as big as this is communication, and Onur and his team always answered our calls and worked with our engineers to get us the best product finish.
Thank you, and wish you further success.

It was a pleasure working with you and your team at Bagel Factory Cafe in Aberdeen. We believe that clear communication, transparency, and listening to every detail are the foundation of a successful project, and we're so glad you felt that throughout the entire process.
Delivering the project ahead of schedule (despite those town delays!) and turning your vision into reality was a rewarding experience for us. Thank you for trusting us with such an important build and for recognizing the value of quality craftsmanship.
We wish you continued success and look forward to stopping by for a bagel soon!

Easily the best contractor in New Jersey. Incredibly honest, hardworking, and detail oriented. Onur is a top notch contractor who knows his stuff. He built me a beautiful space and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted. He would always say, "No problems, only solutions" and he delivered. He will absolutely be my go to for my future projects. Highly recommend for your commercial property renovation.

We have now done 2 major projects with Onur and his team. It says a lot that we were actually looking forward to starting the second project with him because of our experience the first time.
He pays attention to every detail, strives to stay ahead of problems (and you know there are always problems) and really understands what it means to keep the customer happy at all costs.
No major commercial project is going to happen without stress, but working with the right person can help keep it under control. I can tell you from experience with several commercial and residential builders in NJ, Onur and his team at Deon Designs bring the kind of value to the table that few others in his industry are capable of.
We are looking forward to working with them again on our next project.

Onur is a dedicated, hard-working, and honest general contractor. He does great work, and actually cares about the results, both structurally as well as aesthetically. He’s very easy to work with, and I would recommend him highly. He made the whole process streamlined, and the end results turned up very well. Thank you Onur !

After getting various quotes to build our restaurant in Closter, NJ (el Taco Bar), Onur was by far the most reasonable and proactive during the initial process. We were first time restaurant owners, who took on a challenging task to build out a space that was previously a Verizon store. Not an easy undertaking. We were searching for someone who would take control of the project from beginning to end. Onur was very responsive, and always came with solutions to every challenge that presented itself along the way. He gave us the confidence that this was well within his area of expertise, and there was never any doubt throughout the process. I wanted to wait a couple of months before writing this review to see how everything was holding up. The build out is great, and we are constantly complimented on how everything looks! Onur delivered on his promise and was responsive throughout the process, and delivered a project with the budget that was initially presented - which was VERY reasonable compared to other quotes we received! The biggest compliment anyone can ever give their previous contractor is not only to recommend them, but to plan on using him on future jobs! Onur will definitely get the call when el Taco Bar expands to additional locations! Great contractor, even better person! You will not be disappointed if you decide to work with him! Highly recommend!!

We worked with Onur at Deon Design for a commercial remodeling project on very short notice. Form the start, Onur was very responsive and helpful in planning out the project. Onur and all of the employees were easy to deal with and worked very diligently to complete our project in a matter of days when we thought it would take weeks based on other vendors estimates.
The quality of work was exceptional and Onur & team were very professional. We will definitely be using them again in the future for any projects that come up. I'd recommend this company for various types of commercial work.
Positive: Responsiveness, Punctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value
