Left my puppies here for 3 days! I absolutely love how this place reminds of my Grandpas farm in Guatemala! My babies had such a great time that when we came home they went right to sleep which is absolutely the opposite of what they normally do. I highly suggest this to anyone. The owner is super nice & friendly- his staff are super helpful & kind! Love love love this place!

I boarded 2 former shelter dogs at Diamond Dog. The property is shady, serene & secluded with livestock for the dogs to observe (w/ fencing in between of course). I appreciated getting pics of my dogs making friends & romping in the dog park. They got LOTS of outdoor time & I liked that they went with appropriately-matched dog friends. Good value & dog friendly :)

I am a first time dog owner. We had to go out of town and needed to board our dog (still a puppy). The first kennel turned us down (reason unimportant), but ultimately fortuitous. Diamond Dog Resort of Frederick was a godsend. We specifically asked for no contact with other dogs. Josh, Diamond’s manager honored that request. The grounds are absolutely fabulous for a kennel with cows, chickens, goats, as well as kennels. Knowing how anxious we were, he gave us constant updates, every day. What a relief to have no canine worries while we were away. The cost for boarding was incredibly reasonable. With such personal attention and a very happy puppy, I will not hesitate to use Diamond again. I’ve been told it’s really difficult to find the ideal kennel. Well we found it and will recommend to anyone searching for the perfect home away from home.

I took my dog here for an overnight stay. Although a little cluttered, and going through a transition, you can really tell Josh takes pride in the work he does. The place has a lot of potential, and looking forward to future visits. My dog came back home excited and I know he had lots of exercise and playtime, unlike other areas that just kept my pup in a kennel for a majority of the time. I will use this service again in the future.
