We have had an incredible experience with Discovery Child Development Center in Morrisville! Having sent all 3 of our children through their programs, we can confidently say it is a truly special place. ​The environment strikes the perfect balance between learning and nurturing. The teachers are exceptionally knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated to each child's growth. The entire staff is so friendly, and the director is wonderfully accommodating, always making families feel supported and welcome. ​We are so grateful for the strong foundation, wonderful memories, and love for learning our kids gained here. Highly recommend to any family in the area!

We’ve been part of the Discovery family for over five years now, with both of our children growing through different classrooms and learning from different teachers. Through it all, we’ve had a wonderful experience! Discovery provides a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn and grow. The project-based approach the school follows allows children to explore subjects in depth, sparking their curiosity and inspiring them to learn more. It’s amazing to see how this approach, combined with the dedication of the staff, encourages children to ask questions, think independently, and expand their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. My older child, who is now in second grade, started her early learning journey at Discovery. Even today, Discovery remains her favorite place, and she fondly recalls memories from the three years she spent there. Some of her closest friendships began during her time at Discovery, which makes those years even more special to us. Our younger child, who is four and a half and currently in the pre-K classroom, is more than ready to take on the next chapter of elementary school, thanks to the strong foundation Discovery has helped him build—academically, socially, and emotionally. One of the things I appreciate most is the caring and dedicated staff who make the school feel like a community. As a parent, it’s reassuring to know that your children are surrounded by teachers who genuinely care about their well-being, development, and individual learning journeys. On more than one occasion, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how accurately the teachers have understood and described my children’s personalities, strengths, and individual needs during parent-teacher conferences. To me, this speaks volumes about how much the teachers at Discovery invest in getting to know each child and nurturing them in ways that best support their growth. Having had the opportunity to volunteer at the school and occasionally work as a substitute teacher, I’ve also experienced Discovery from a different perspective. This has given me an even greater appreciation for the thoughtful planning, patience, and effort that go into creating meaningful learning experiences for the children. We’re truly grateful to have been part of the Discovery community for so many years. I would highly recommend Discovery to families looking for a preschool that nurtures curiosity, fosters meaningful friendships, and provides a strong foundation for lifelong learning!

Amazing place! I would highly recommend it to all parents. The teachers are wonderful and very attentive to your childs needs. They work with you in all aspects to make everyday enjoyable for your child. The care, affection and attention to detail remains steadfast through all the classes which is a major plus for me.

Great pre-school! We love sending our kids here, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The teachers create wonderful learning experiences with everyday tasks and routines. Highly recommend it to everyone.

Discovery Child Development Center holds a very special place for us. We discovered Discovery when we were looking for a preschool for our son who wasn't thriving in a daycare setting. 8 years later, I still don't have enough words to appreciate the entire staff here. The teachers are exceptional. They take time to truly understand each child - their personalities, their strengths. They dont just educate the child, they connect. My middle schooler who is a Discovery alumni still loves to visit the teachers. The kids are loved and cared for to the core. The environment at the school is nurturing and warm. The staff knows every child by their name. We have endless conversations with Ms. Poonam and Mike before we enter the classroom. Its our daily ritual. Everyone is so approachable. This school doesnt just teach kids. I can go to the staff anytime with questions regarding K-12 schooling or after school activities, and everyone goes out of their way to provide with the guidance. Mike is my go to when it comes to understanding anything regarding kids education or other activities. He has helped me tremedously with my kids guiding me about growth oppurtunities both when they were a part of Discovery and even now when one of them is a middle schooler. I have seen both my kids grow academically, socially and emotionally in this school. I will be endlessly grateful to the teachers, Ms. Poonam and Mike.

We have had such a wonderful experience at Discovery, and we truly couldn’t recommend it more! Our son attended the TK program here first, and we had such a positive experience that when it was time for our daughter to start preschool, there was no question that we wanted her to come here too. It has been so special to see both of our children enjoy coming to school and feel so happy and comfortable here. Our daughter had never experienced a preschool setting before and initially had some difficulty adjusting to the new environment and routine, but her teachers were incredibly patient, caring, and supportive in helping her get comfortable and settle in. It was wonderful to see her gain confidence and, before long, genuinely look forward to coming to school each day. Now in her second year, she continues to thrive and looks forward to going to school every day. We absolutely love the teachers and staff and have been very impressed with the curriculum. Both of our children have built wonderful relationships with their teachers and friends, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found a preschool where our kids are so well cared for and encouraged. We have had such a wonderful experience at Discovery Child Development Center. Our older daughter attended the Pre-K program, and our younger daughter is now in the 3-year-old preschool program, so we’ve had the opportunity to experience multiple classrooms and stages of the school. We’ve also done a few weeks of summer camp as well! We absolutely love the teachers and staff and have been so impressed with the curriculum. What really stands out is how much the children learn while still having fun and being encouraged to be curious. They come home talking about everything from the planets to birds, and it’s amazing to see how much knowledge they’re building at such a young age. I also love how the school helps children develop independence and responsibility through everyday classroom jobs and opportunities to contribute to their community. By the time our older daughter finished Pre-K, we felt she was so well prepared—not only academically, but also socially and emotionally—for kindergarten. Most of all, there is such a strong sense of community. The friendships the kids form, the relationships they build with their teachers, and the feeling of belonging are truly special. We feel very lucky to have found a preschool where our children are so well cared for, challenged, encouraged, and loved. We couldn’t recommend it more!

We had a very bad experience with this school.. My son was having a hard time after becoming a big brother and instead of helping him, the staff was putting him in time out and they were berating him for every little mistake. The director and teacher told us that there was something wrong with him when he was just behaving in a developmental appropriate way. We had to pull him out because we did not like the way his emotions (completely age appropriate) were handled by the staff. My son is thriving in another school and we haven’t had any issues.

We moved to the area over the summer with a 4 year old. I was very nervous to find a preschool that would have space and work for our family - after a wide search, Discovery Child Development Center was my first choice and we were so happy that they had space! My child immediately felt welcome and included, and it helped so much with the transition from moving to a new state. We love the children-led, project based curriculum, which allows the children to learn so much but they feel like they are playing. My daughter especially loves the daily Spanish classes, and comes home singing the songs. The teachers are so supportive and kind. I am very picky on schools, and I can't recommend this preschool enough!

Hi there! Hope you are here because you are looking for the best school for your young/preschool aged child because now you can stop looking! For our family, Discovery is more than we could have hoped for - the curriculum is engaging while leaving lots of time for play, the teachers care beyond what we could have expected and feel our four and a half year old will be more than ready for kindergarten next year. Only a few months in and our son comes home excited about what he's learned, he knows lots of Spanish words, loves to show us his artwork and always wants to know when he will go back. We also look forward to the newsletter each week; it makes us feel involved without being overwhelming. The only negative is we wish we had found it sooner... Can Ms. Sonja and Ms. Triveni come to kindergarten as his teachers next year?!? Please?!?
