It has been awhile since I have used movers, but I have to say that this was one of the easiest experiences I have ever had! Leading up to moving day, it was really simple to get a quote and get things organized. Come moving day, the guys were friendly, fast and super easy to work with. I’m a (anxious) delegator, so it was nice to take a break from that and leave it in the hands of great people. It truly was a smooth experience, and I would recommend Eco Movers in a heart beat. We booked a 3-person crew, but only 2 movers showed up. As a result, moving our 1,100 sq. ft. 2-bedroom home stretched into a grueling 9-hour job. While the two movers on-site were polite and worked hard, management completely dropped the ball. Both the crew and I spent a significant portion of the day trying to get dispatch/management to send the third person we were promised, with no success. The lack of coordination and support from the office turned what should have been a straightforward move into a frustratingly long day.

3rd Edit: The WA Utilities and Transportation Commission found that EcoMovers violated the law here. It's not feasible for me to pursue legal action from halfway across the country, so congrats EcoMovers! You get away with it.

2nd Edit: You can tell the company is lying in their recent response. The photos are from their warehouse, placed there by their movers. Their warehouse staff acknowledged the damage that same day. In their emails with me they specifically say:
"We deeply apologize for the damages that occurred, and that the items were not stored correctly during its [sic] time in our facility."
EDIT: Unfortunately I have to downgrade my 5-star review to a 1-star. I would in fact leave 0 stars if possible.
Ecomovers was grossly negligent with the items that they packed. I mostly packed things myself, but left some oddball items for them to pack. They're professional movers, right? They know how to pack things safely. They said they could crate them up safely and securely. Easy peasy no problem.
Ha. They wrapped a neon lamp in a heavy blanket and called it a day. Completely shattered.
A piece of native Alaskan art had very specific instructions: crate lying flat. They tossed it on-end in an open lamp box. Cracked, bent, and twisted.
Box after box with "This end up" clearly and boldly marked totally disregarded and shoved in any which way.
They were informed the same day. I filled out all the forms they sent me. They offered zero help finding the relevant professionals to repair the items they damaged.
Unsurprisingly, it is difficult to find people qualified in restoring native artwork. It took a long time to find anyone at all. They used this as an excuse to deny any liability.
I am incredibly disappointed. It takes some real balls to go "Yeah, we damaged your stuff. So what?"
Original: Showed up on time and did a great job even while I was still packing a few things. Quick, clean, and efficient.
