Econotherm Daniel and Louis did home energy assessment at my mother’s home in Suffolk County. They did a home energy assessment on a home built in 1969 that was freezing in winter due to lack of insulation. They air sealed the entire two story home and blew in insulation on first and second story 360 degree wrap from the outside as well as built storage platform and insulation dam in attic which they filled with insulation as well as adding a tent at the drop-down stairs entry. They achieved a 40% reduction in lost airflow. The work was performed in one day with crew of 7. They were professional and neat. They left the home looking like nothing was done. On the patio they moved and replaced several large heavy planters along the back of the home and replaced all to original positioning and cleaned the patio surface leaving no trace of work. They also touched up the shingles on front of house following work so that the original weathered appearance was returned to the original look despite having to remove and replace a line of shingles to perform the work. We are extremely satisfied and recommend using their service if in need of improved energy efficiency in your home. Thank you Econotherm.

Louis came in and reviewed my whole house, they came a few months later and insulated and air sealed everything! Wonderful work, great guys, they cleaned up after themselves amazingly and the price was excellent! I'm so happy we did this and can't wait to see how much better this house will be at retaining the cold/heat moving forward. We had no insulation in most of the house. Daniel, Branley and their team were amazing, so friendly and they explained everything to me in great detail. Highly recommended

OMG! Where do I start? I thought I had a problem with my insulation. I initially called another company who could not help me so they recommended Econo-Therm Insulation to me because they are specialists. I called them and Lou, an owner of the company, came to my house the very next morning and from the moment you met him you felt at ease. I immediately knew I had a person with knowledge and integrity in my home. He immediately looked in the attic. He took pictures of the insulation, my central air conditioner, etc.. He came down and showed me the pictures, explained everything thoroughly and nicely, and said my insulation was great. He explained why it was good. He gave me tips and suggestions. He answered all of my questions in a way I understood. He said I didn't have to have any work done. He was honest! He could have made up an invoice of work and told me anything but he didn't! He was HONEST! I even offered him a tip for coming and he would not accept it. He just does right by people. He drove an hour to my house in AM rush hour traffic and didn't leave with a dime but instead left knowing that he did right by me, a random potential customer. He says that he is able to sleep at night and this is because he always does right by people. This man, this company is the TRUTH! I haven't encountered too many companies like this but this man, Lou, will be blessed by GOD for ever because he treats people the way people should be treated. So honest, so knowledgeable, so respectful! Lou and Econo-Therm you guys will ALWAYS be the company I choose for all of my insulation needs! WOW!!!! Thank you!! God bless you, Lou! A++++

If you happen to come across this review trying to determine despite their 90's looking website if Econo-Therm is legit and does quality work, the answer is an astounding yes to both. Late last year I had solicited two bids for an attic insulation job from local competitors, who of course sent out their A-team sales reps, and presented me with incredibly absurd proposals. I then came across Econo-Therm and gave them a call. Louis came out, we jumped in my attic, and he took a very thorough look and prepared a comprehensive bid right after. He detailed exactly what I wanted done without needing to ask, which is very refreshing to hear from any contractor. My ranch house's attic was woefully underinsulated with 50+ recessed lights. He proposed a solid plan: best effort air sealing along the ceiling plane, IC rated light covers + seal, remove the old TV antenna, capped a PVC pipe, mastic some of the ducting, fiberglass bat + tyvek the curtain walls, build a small platform near my air handler for the HVAC techs, and of course blow 12+ inches of L77 to top off the existing fiberglass and bring me up to let's call it R49+ across the entire attic. He provided a bid on the spot with extremely fair pricing. I scheduled the job and they came on time the day of. His son runs most of the installs I think. They came with 7 team members, finished the project in a half day, did a wonderful job and took a bunch of pictures along the way. They left no mess at all and required essentially no supervision. They also, free of charge, re-ducted two bathroom vent fans that were improperly done. Quality of work was excellent - house immediately felt more comfortable and I already saw reduced oil burn this last winter and lower electric costs this summer so far. Don't think twice; call Econo-Therm!

Econo Therm Insulation just left my home & I'm so happy to have them insulate for me. Brantley & Daniel's crew was amazing! Very thorough, friendly, professional & welcomed questions. They caulked everything inside my 1974 home as well as insulating from outside with blown in cellulose, reducing my blower door results by 40%. I feel truly blessed to have this experience of a wonderful team working on my home.

I don’t write reviews often. However, after having the team at econotherm insulation insulate my home I am beyond happy with the job they completed. They arrived at my home at 8:30 with three trucks and it was like watching a tight orchestra work on the outside and inside of my home! They answered any and all questions I had and went above and beyond from the minute they placed drop cloths on my floors till they mopped their way out. This is a family business that takes pride in what they do I would highly recommend them to anyone, no need to look any further. Thank you Louis and the team!
