We sent our 2 boys to Eden Prairie Montessori North for 3 years after moving to Eden Prairie. It has been our best early-childhood education experience by far and a godsend for our family! Cannot say enough good things about every staff member at this fantastic organization. Throughout our time here, our boys were supported, challenged, and nurtured each step of the way. They truly became more well-rounded individuals in each classroom and are thriving in elementary school as a result of the preparation that EPMS provided! Thank you to Ms Shonali, Ms Jen, Miss Maria, Miss Mindy, and all of the other fantastic ladies who make this school what it is today. If you have a choice in EP, you can't go wrong with EPMS!

Both of my boys have attended Eden Prairie Montessori South starting when they were 1 and 3, and we could not be happier with our experience. I’m not sure if it’s the Montessori approach, the incredible teachers, the stability of the school, or the way the owner and director have created such a warm community — but this place has been truly special for our family. The teachers are loving, consistent, and intentional, and my children come home talking about how much they love their teachers and how much fun they had at school. They are always doing thoughtful, engaging activities with the children, and I can see how much my boys are learning and growing. We have tried nannies, in-home daycares, and larger childcare centers like Horizons – and Eden Prairie Montessori South has been by far the most educational, structured, and nurturing environment we’ve experienced. I would choose this school again and again. We are so grateful for the care, learning, and community they have given our family.

We are so incredibly happy and fortunate to have found our way to Eden Prairie Montessori. From the opening minutes of our tour we knew this was the place for our children. Each of our children blossomed into the best versions of themselves under the kind, loving, devoted, and patient care of the staff and teachers. Every interaction we had made us feel respected, heard, and cared for. Our children were incredibly prepared for school and learned so much beyond kindergarten readiness including independence, community, and kindness. We cherish our time and memories from our years at Eden Prairie Montessori.

I have 3 boys and all thrived at EP Montessori. Very supportive environment. Teachers are experienced, wise and have a great balance between gentleness and sternness. Very low turnover so you really get to know the people taking care of your children.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about EPM! Our child has been there since he was a toddler and the teachers, staff, directors, admins are wonderful. They have built a strong positive community that genuinely cares about each child and their needs. As a working parent, it gives me a piece of mind that my child is in a loving, nurtured, and learning environment everyday. The foundational skills my child is learning will stay with him forever this formable years, and I am so grateful to have him at EPM.

We have had a wonderful experience at Eden Prairie Montessori. My son has grown so much both academically and socially and the Montessori approach has helped him develop a love for learning! Highly recommend this school to anyone seeking a thoughtful, supportive and enriching learning environment.

We have been apart of the EP Montessori family since 2017, and it’s been an amazing experience! We feel so fortunate and thankful to have found EPM, all of our children love and loved coming here, and remember what a great experience it was and is!

I would like to share my experience with EPM, which has been quite mixed. While the school has a solid reputation, I left disappointed. Not only in the education my daughter received, but also the overall attitude of the staff and unprofessional communication. Communication from the staff was often unclear and inconsistent. I found myself acting on their recommendations, only to have them recant those suggestions when it was convenient for them. It felt like I was being gaslit. At times, my daughter’s provider recommendations were not followed. They would state my daughter was the only child not napping as an example, but yet there was a room full of children not napping. They stated my daughter didn’t have friends not knowing that we played with kids from class on regular basis and still do to this day. A particularly memorable incident that encapsulates my experience occurred on Halloween. My daughter was thrilled to wear her light-up princess dress, exuding pride and excitement as she arrived at school. However, the teacher checking in students remarked, “wow, that is distracting,” in an annoyed voice, which was incredibly deflating for my daughter. I think my daughter picked up on that she was not liked by the staff and that impacted her. The overall lack of smiles or morale didn’t seem good in my experience. Changing a child’s daycare/school setting can cause a lot of disruption. That is the only reason why we stayed as long as we did and tried to make it work. On a positive note, Soccer Shots, Wee-Move, and Piano teachers/coach were great.

All 3 of our children had an excellent experience at Eden Prairie Montessori over the span of 15 years. Our children felt loved and respected, and they couldn't wait to go to EP Montessori every day! Ms. Shonali and all the teachers are so caring. They foster a love for learning and a love for each other. All of our children were also very ready to start Kindergarten. We HIGHLY recommend Eden Prairie Montessori!

My sons both attended Eden Prairie Montessori and had a wonderful experience. The teachers and staff show genuine care for the children. My sons came home with new skills that I didn’t teach them, like zipping a coat and carefully pouring water. They grew confident and felt at home at this school. They were beyond ready for kindergarten when they left. They made great friends that we will continue to keep in touch with. I couldn’t imagine a better preschool experience.
