I went to get an oil change, brake pad replacement, and a new battery, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Joe was very friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood what was being done and why. You can really tell they care about doing things right and keeping customers happy. I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest mechanic!

2023 update:
Found out this year the prices he charged us 11-months ago for a tire change were 63% above local competitors. Didn’t balance the air in the tires either. Disappointed. Thought this was a Korean family friend.

To preface: My family has been going to “Joe” the mechanic for probably over a decade now. He used to operate out of the Getty Gas Station down the road.
My girlfriend works about an hour away from home so I decided to change her tires for the Winter commute. My parents recommended that I go to EERE auto repair because the owner and mechanic “Joe” is not only a family friend but a very honest man. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Joe’s fellow employees. Joe had told us to leave the car, keys, and a phone number to be reached. In less than two hours, I receive a phone call from Joe personally telling me that my girlfriends car was ready.
Excellent service! Quick, efficient and a great price! The staff was helpful and understood the issue with my car right away. First time coming in here and left with a great first impression. Highly recommended!

The plastic belly of my car fell down on my way to work today. All the places in ridgewood were closed except this one. They took my car in and fixed it right away. Great people who were willing to help me.
