Doug was incredibly helpful during the quoting process, taking the time to explain our options and answer our questions. The installation crew was excellent throughout the project. During a 2-day install they uncovered some unexpected wood rot. Chandler quickly came up with a solution, clearly explained the additional work and associated costs, and the team completed the repairs seamlessly. Overall, they kept us informed throughout the install, maintained a clean workspace, and paid close attention to every finishing detail. One window did arrived scratched, the team proactively coordinated a replacement and scheduled the swap promptly. Communication was excellent throughout the entire project, and everyone we worked with was friendly, responsive, and professional. As a homeowner I've been scared to purchase new windows for my house for almost a decade because you hear how expensive it can be. This was the year it had to be done and how lucky was I to come across Einar Johanson Window and Door. A local business here in North Seattle. They made the process so easy. It started with Doug who came to my home for my free estimate. It wasn't a 3 hour meeting to sell me windows blah blah blah. He was professional, courteous and able to answer all my questions. He measured my 9 existing windows and within 3 days gave me a quote of under 16k. I was blown away. Now with existing windows you have to realize EJW&D are opening 'cans of worms' so there can be up charges but at 16k LETS GO! These are Coeur d'Alene windows with a lifetime guarantee and they are more beautiful than I could have hoped for. For the second part of the process they came in and measured everything exactly and scheduled install once the windows have been ordered. The installation team set the project off! Two young gentleman arrived ready to go. Davyd and Cole. They introduced themselves and explained to me their process and how they were going to proceed. These two gave off professional vibes. As they entered my house bring in tools and such they protected everything and treated my home with respect. Davyd and Cole were over the top with kindness and explaining to me their process. They gave me the most comfortable, positive vibe that I was going to get a great job and not some slam, bam, thank you ma'am. I've been in high end construction for 35 years and I have a great bs filter and I got none of that. I was able to let them work and do their job without worry. There was absolutely no need to watch over their shoulders. I included a picture of the level of detail David showed. He needed to shrink the bottom board to expose the weep holes and he scribed the piece to make sure there was no gaps in my siding. Most times those gaps are just caulked but Davyd made sure every time I walked by I would be happy with his performance and I couldn't thank Davyd and Cole enough for the positive energy they put into our home. These guys also work beyond normal hours to make sure your project gets done in a timely manner. They never left house a mess either. Did I mention the owner came by to introduce himself and make sure everything was to our liking? My wife and I could not be happier with the job we were given by Einar Johansson. They check the boxes at every level! Quality over quantity. Some of the best work ethic I've seen in a very long time. Einar Johanson was represented very well. We just finished a 5 window and a sliding door install with Einar Johanson and I love my Simonton windows and door. Davyd, Cole and Devante were my installers. They did a great job of installing, protecting the furniture and cleaning up afterwards everyday. There were minor hiccups on one of the windows but Davyd and Cole were super receptive of feedback and eager to make sure everything was up-to my liking. They never rushed anything. Would definitely recommend them.

We had a great experience with Einar Johanson replacing all our old single pane wood frame windows with modern fiberglass + wood Marvin windows. Throughout the whole sales process Doug was extremely helpful and patient, with none of the high pressure sales tactics we experienced from some other bids. They weren't the lowest bid but weren't the highest either and we felt very comfortable with our choice. The timeline for ordering from the manufacturer was clearly communicated and happened on schedule. When it came time for install Caleb and the whole install crew were fantastic -- communicative, respectful of our home and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their work. We would definitely work with them again.

Outstanding Service and Craftsmanship at the Silver Firs house! We recently had our windows replaced, and I cannot recommend this company enough. The crew was led by a foreman named Ian, and from start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding. Ian and his team were incredibly nice, highly professional, and possessed fantastic communication and social skills. They kept us informed throughout the process and demonstrated excellent craftsmanship in their work. They also went above and beyond in terms of helpfulness. When they arrived, they noticed we had forgotten to take down one of our curtains and kindly helped us remove them without hesitation. Their attention to detail was unmatched; they took extra time at the end of the job to ensure the new windows did not have a single smudge or speck on them. To top it off, they left the work area cleaner than it was when they started. They were even incredibly gracious and understanding when our dog had an embarrassing accident and peed right on Ian’s floor protector. Everything about this experience was great. If you need window replacement, ask for Ian and his crew—you won't be disappointed!

We had a great experience with Einar Johanson during installation 2 years ago. The installers were friendly and did solid work. One of our high usage windows, which was under warranty, recently broke. I called to get it fixed and Einar Johanson arranged for someone from Lindsay Windows to fix it. The repairman from Lindsay, Joe, was very friendly and efficient. I'm very happy with the on going service from Einar Johanson and Lindsay windows and highly recommend them.

Absolutely stellar. We love our beautiful brand new windows that bring so much joy and will save so much money! Ian and his team were so amazing we were sad to see them go. Before he got to work he laid out the entire plan and asked us if we had any preferences (of course we did and they absolutely accommodated). It's been a long time since I've had a customer service experience and where I felt respected and valued. In a world where AI Demands a 20% tip for not being helpful this experience was chicken soup for my soul! I'm almost sad my beautiful perfectly installed Windows are going to last for decades! Side note the caulking lines are absolute art and the entire window area (not just the pane) was shiny clean brand new sparkle!! 10 out of 10 recommend!
