EJF charged me HOA fees for a condo I had already sold weeks prior, in mid May 2026 and charged me for June 2026 HOA, despite being aware and in the loop on the sale. Since then I have had to send a dozen plus emails to the management with limited replies and no help to get the almost $900 they owe me as a refund. If EJF was able to do their job and update records, I would have never been charged and yet it has taken hours of my time to correct their mistake (which has yet to be corrected). I would think twice before hiring this management company for a building. I thought about keeping my condo and renting it out, however decided not to because I did not trust management to be able to deal with any issues that might come along when I did not live there myself— that is the single reason I decided to sell.
