Parents, please do not send your children here. This is an update to my previous review. Unfortunately, they have done nothing to address the concerns I raised. I spoke with the manager, who identified herself as Maria P., and she seemed completely unconcerned about the situation. Karin de la Fuente was very unprofessional and rude, and it is clear she does not genuinely care about the children in there. If Karin de la Fuente was willing to behave the way she did while I was present, I can only imagine how she treats the children when parents are not around. I had an appointment today for my autistic son to receive a speech evaluation, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk employee was rude and did not even greet us. The person in charge of my son’s evaluation, Karin de la Fuente, made both my son and me feel very uncomfortable. I had never seen my son act this nervous during an appointment before. There was another employee conducting most of the evaluation, and in my opinion, she was doing a great job. My son was responding well to her. However, Karin repeatedly interrupted her, raised her voice at her, and criticized her throughout the evaluation. This created a tense and uncomfortable environment that made my son extremely anxious. Instead of helping him feel comfortable or adjusting her approach, Karin stopped the evaluation and said she would not continue. I told her that my son was nervous and that even I felt uncomfortable because of the atmosphere in the room. I also told her my concern about the way she was speaking to her employee. In my opinion, professionals who work with autistic children should have the experience, patience, and understanding necessary to help children feel safe and supported during evaluations. I would not recommend this place at all. If this is how employees and patients are treated in front of parents, it raises concerns about how they’re being treated behind closed doors.

I’ve had such a great experience here! The therapists are not only knowledgeable but genuinely kind and supportive. The whole clinic has such a positive, and welcoming atmosphere. You can tell everyone truly cares about the people they work with!!

I did not have a positive experience here. The receptionist was unfriendly on the phone, and during the evaluation the staff seemed frustrated when my child didn’t cooperate immediately. The main therapist’s feedback to me felt more condescending than supportive. I was hoping for a more understanding and welcoming environment.

My 2 children go here weekly and seem to be enjoying it. Their speech therapist, Eileen, is sweet and patient.

Great staff, great environment, always welcoming.
