Juan and the team create some of the best food I have ever had at an event. Cocktail hour the poke cones was melt in your mouth good but the dish that had me raving all night was the lamb. Quite possibly the best lamb I have ever had. It is difficult to cook and to source it well and Juan and his team just knew how to make that some of the best food I have ever had!
Would give 10 stars if allowed. Elisa's recently catered our event for about 140 people. From start to finish they were professional and courteous. Juan, the owner, helped with everything from menu suggestions, to also working with the company supplying the tables, linens etc., and the venue. Oh, and the food was amazing. I've received compliments on how delicious it was from soooo many of the guests. We had heavy appitizers, vs a sit down menu. The presentation was beautiful and all the service staff were also very friendly and helpful. Can't go wrong in booking them for your special event.
Juan, Brandi, and the entire Elisa’s Catering team are nothing short of extraordinary! I am a wedding coordinator with Fantasy Sound Event Services and we recently had the pleasure of working with them for a wedding at The Gardens at Heather Farm. They truly went above and beyond, not only for the couple, but for our team as well. They were attentive, detail-oriented, friendly and all around one of our favorite vendors we have worked with. Juan and Brandi were so on top of everything and even extended their help to my team multiple times throughout the evening. And if their exceptional service isn’t enough to impress you, their food was just as amazing. We cannot recommend Elisa’s Catering enough and hope to have many more weddings with them in the future. We contracted with Elisa's Catering to prepare food in our home in Benicia for 20 people for a 75th birthday party. From our first contact with Juan, through the finalization of the planning, through the food preparation on the day of the party in our kitchen, through clean-up, everything went excellently. Juan is easy to communicate with and very responsible in following up on questions. The food was amazing, and all are guests were very impressed. The service was done immaculately. And our kitchen was left very clean. I recommend Elisa's catering very highly. They are superb.
Juan is great! He went completely above and beyond what we hired him for. On the wedding day, we had a major mishap with another vendor that left us with partial decor. Even with the limited decor, Juan did an excellent job making the setup look intentional and beautiful. Beyond being a lifesaver, his catering was flawless. We did three tastings with him and he was very helpful in incorporating our vision into the menu. He even made custom recipe cookies just so our wedding could be more special! The food was amazing, and we had so many friends come up to tell us it was the best wedding food they’ve had. 10/10 experience and I would recommend him to others!!!
We had Juan and his amazing staff for our wedding in October 2025 for about 150 people! Juan was one of my favorite vendors - he was attentive, communicative, and knowledgeable. Food tasted great and we got awesome reviews from our guests - recommend tri tip, mashed potatoes, and crostini appetizer. Juan also supported a ton with get our DIY bar and dessert bar done, consulting on amounts of beverages to buy, rentals of glassware, and even giving us access to some extra supplies. Just can't say enough about how happy I was to have him as our caterer.
I cannot recommend Juan and his team at Elisa’s Catering enough! I’m still dreaming about the incredible food from our wedding. My partner and I envisioned a vegan taco bar with a shrimp option for our guests, and Juan delivered beyond our expectations. The flavors were absolutely amazing. Every taco filling was insanely delicious, and the shrimp was a total crowd-pleaser. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was! Beyond the amazing food, the service was impeccable. Right after our ceremony, Juan’s team brought us a plate of appetizers so we could actually enjoy the cocktail hour bites, which was such a thoughtful touch and so needed with the business of our day. Dinner was seamless and absolutely perfect. They also provided bartending services and did an amazing job with it. We were blown away by the quality of the food, the professionalism of the staff, and the care that went into making everything run smoothly. Juan and his team truly went above and beyond to give us the best possible experience. Wedding food can sometimes fall flat, but not with Elisa’s Catering. I wish I could eat Juan’s cooking every week!

Delicious Food and Seamless Service – Perfect Farewell Brunch! We hired Elisa’s Catering for our Farewell Brunch the day after our wedding, and they did an absolutely fantastic job! I worked with Juan, who made the entire process incredibly easy and stress-free. He provided a clear menu of options with straightforward pricing and quantities, and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. The food was delicious—our guests especially raved about the veggie egg casserole and the French toast. Even though our venue didn’t have a kitchen, they prepared everything off-site and delivered it perfectly warm and fresh. You never would have known it hadn’t just come out of the oven! Juan and his team handled everything, from setup to tear-down, and even packaged up the leftovers for us. It was such a relief to not have to worry about a thing that morning, and the value for the quality of service and food was excellent. I highly recommend Elisa’s Catering for any event—reliable, delicious, and a pleasure to work with!
Chef Juan made our private event absolutely perfect with his creative and delicious custom menu accommodating the vegetarians too, with thoughtful and satisfying dishes. The team's organization and cleanliness was really impressive, couldn't even tell they ever were in the kitchen when they left. He's so personable, we wanted him to stay! I need more private events with Chef Juan!
