They did our inspections and as soon as we moved in, we had water leakage from the second shower into the first floor ceiling that they did not catch. If you want to save yourself thousands of dollars in repairs after your purchase or worse, having to deal with lawsuits with the previous owner, hire another company.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this home inspection group, specifically Mr. Robby Gonzales (inspector), based on our experience. He was professional and courteous during the inspection, but the inspection itself was completed in only about 45 minutes, and we were left with the impression that there were no significant concerns with the property. After moving forward, we discovered issues that I believe should have been identified or at least brought to our attention during a thorough home inspection. The garage door was not properly functioning and required servicing, and there was visible popcorn acoustic material in the furnace closet that was later tested and found to contain asbestos, requiring professional abatement. Both of these conditions were readily visible. While I understand that a home inspector cannot diagnose every problem or determine whether a material contains asbestos without laboratory testing, I would have expected these findings to be documented and appropriate further evaluation recommended. Because these issues were not identified, we are now facing thousands of dollars in unexpected expenses. Based on our experience, I would not use this inspector again or recommend him to others.
Terrible experience. The inspector noted water stains, was told a story by the seller's agent, and accepted it. Failed to put together various signs of water damage. Avoided our calls. Told us he would call back but did not. Corporate told us he would call but did not. Corporate told us his supervisor would call back but did not. I will never use again.
We paid nearly $1,000 for a home inspection expecting a thorough and professional evaluation, but the inspection report missed multiple critical safety and maintenance issues. Because these problems were not identified, we ended up discovering them only after moving forward with the purchase, resulting in unexpected repairs and unnecessary stress. Some of the major items that were overlooked included missing railings at the attic balcony, a second-floor balcony railing that did not meet recommended height guidelines, exposed electrical wiring inside a kitchen cabinet, a broken patio sliding door that would not latch or lock, a broken bedroom screen door, and a patio sliding door that would not slide properly because a screw was lodged in the track. What was even more frustrating was the lack of accountability. When we raised our concerns, instead of acknowledging the deficiencies in the inspection, we were directed to file a claim, which felt like we were being sent through unnecessary hoops rather than having our concerns addressed directly. We hired Elite because we wanted peace of mind during one of the biggest purchases of our lives. Instead, we were left questioning the value of the service and dealing with costly issues that should have been identified during the inspection.
I used this company for a home inspection later last year. I was told about a lot of small things like a not properly installed/mounted plug in the access area in the wall for the HVAC. So, I thought this company was no joke... Which was an about $30,000 mistake. As I paid the extra fee for the "pool/spa inspection". The inspector had zero idea what he was doing with the pool "inspection". The pool turned out to be completely compromised. The plaster lining has to be replaced because there are cracks so that are leak leaking behind the plaster. The entire filter and heater are compromised. Everything has to be replaced.
What a joke. I made an online appointment with Elite Group and selected the time and date. I was given a confirmation number and everything. Then…. I also selected a termite inspection. Same thing, date and time confirmed with Elite, and the owners of the home I needed to have this appointment conducted at. Here it is the day before… and no reminder emails from Elite like usual. I call and tell them the facts and was told I’ll get a call back. About 2 hours later a female calls and basically says oh well, no appointment tomorrow, we had a system glitch. Then, she goes on to say how the secondary appointment was also not going to be completed either! The reason? Ohhh our termite inspections don’t happen that far away. Really?? Because your system let me and gave me confirmation for not just one but two appointments. I received an end of day call and that person reiterated I don’t have an appointment. They tried to move it to another day and it’s too late. I was able to find another company to fill my needs and they were professional and timely of my schedule and needs. Lastly; not once did Elite apologize. I even told the second company representative “still no apology from Elite Inspections…. And yeah they can’t even do that right. I’ve used them for over 14 years; and probably won’t call them again. Obviously they don’t GAF about their customers or the agents that go out of their way to schedule with them, just to end up wasting time on multiple levels. I fully understand crap happens, but it’s the way your company handles (or didn’t handle) the situation is what matters.
Scam company ! Avoid them ! We had to hire them due to an escrow transaction. They knew we had to fix whatever they came up with.... so they hit us with all kinds of false INFLATED costs. For example, they wanted 800 dollars to replace a corner piece of wood on the roof. The piece of lumber literally costs 24.99 at Home Depot. DO NOT HIRE THIS INSPECTION COMPANY, go with anyone else. They will ALWAYS find something wrong, and charge you an inflated costs because they feel your obligated to go with them.
A plus inspection. The inspector was extremely thorough and really helped us with negotiating fixes with the seller. The report was every easy to read and organized with photo proof. Thank you!
Extremely thorough and detailed inspection report done next day to view. Would use them again easily.
He said all the appliances in the house were working. I decided to change the water heater: the plumber said the previous water heater was not properly installed and could have caused a big leakage inside the house. I decided to change the W&D: the plumber said it was not properly installed. I decided to change the stove: the hot element indicator light on the stove was permanently illuminated even though the stove was off. I decided to keep the furnace: it wasn’t working before I even moved in. All these things were approved by the inspector. So they are getting a 2 star review from me but maybe a 5 star from the previous owner since he worked in their favor.
