I recently returned from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Embark, and I can't say enough good things about the experience! From the planning and preparation to the final day on the mountain, the entire adventure was exceptionally well organized and professionally executed. Climbing Kilimanjaro is no small undertaking, and having the right outfitter makes all the difference. The guides and porters were absolutely outstanding, they were knowledgeable, encouraging, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience both safe and memorable. Their professionalism was matched by their warmth, enthusiasm, and wonderful spirit, in fact Fredrick our lead guide, was completing his 374th summit of Kili...simply unreal! At 68 years old, I knew Kilimanjaro would be a significant physical and mental challenge. Having a team I could trust every step of the way made the experience that much more rewarding. It allowed us to focus on the climb, enjoy the incredible surroundings, and fully appreciate what was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. If you're considering climbing Kilimanjaro, I would wholeheartedly recommend Embark. They didn't just help make an ambitious adventure possible, they helped make it unforgettable.

Man, where do I start. Two weeks in Rwanda, with every detail attended to by amazing, wonderful, knowledgeable, and invested folks from Embark. I couldn't lay on sufficient superlatives. I have written volumes in my journal about the trip. What is pertinent here is the organization, itinerary, support and cost of the Embark expedition. They know what they're doing. The freely share of their knowledge and experience. But, that doesn't get in the way of modifying to individual and specific needs. They went above and beyond in making sure it all worked for me. But, I gotta say. I went to see the Gorillas, I saw the world. The Rwandans, the culture, the Safari animals, all the primates; living among the locals, and witness the healing of from one of the worst genocides in modern history - it was life changing, life-affirming, and gave hope our civilization will survive itself.

This was a GREAT trip across the Andes to Machu Piccu. Embark Exploration went above and beyond what we expected. Friendly, historical experts, and great atmosphere. They took care of us and made sure that we got more each and every day. GREAT TRIP - Highly recommend them for your future treks.

Embark is the best! I used Embark to trek Kilimanjaro, deciding to take the Lemosho route. Everything from pre-trip planning, arrival, our guides and porters, and experience on the mountain was beyond my wildest expectations. Our guides and porters took great care to ensure we were taken care of, and we saw the difference between our group and other's on the mountain. Additionally, when a medical issue popped up for me it was handled with the utmost care and speed - which alleviated any anxiety I could have had! Afterwards, I did a Safari, which was equally as wonderful. Truly, the most stress free trip I have ever taken - I didn't need to think or worry about anything as it was all taken care of. I would recommend Embark to ANYONE looking to do Kilimanjaro, or any of their other treks. I will 100% be using them in the future when I return to Kili, and for my other expeditions. I truly cannot recommend them enough.

We did the Ausangate high passes trek with Claudio and Embark and it was great. From the online meeting with Carrie going over what to expect to pickup and accommodations in Cusco everything was taken care of. The trek was challenging and the cultural aspects were a great addition. Food was varied and tasty and the support staff was helpful and encouraging. We would recommend Embark and use them again.

Amazing trek in Bhutan! As always, Embark curated and guided an incredible trip filled with wonderful hiking over high passes, great cultural experiences, incredible local guides and fantastic food and lodging whether in camp or hotels and towns. Simply the best curator of life changing adventure experiences in the business.

I recently completed the High Passes of Saltankay Trek. This high altitude trek was truly a once in a lifetime exeprience! The pre-trip preparations were clear and Embark was easy to work with throughout the entire process. Once on the ground in Peru, the lead guide and the team they assembled were nothing short of the best. The entire team took care of our group in every way possible, and provided some of the best food once could ever imagine along the trail. They easily accomdated group member's dietary needs as well. For 6 days and 5 nights, we only saw one other group. We were one our own to enjoy nature and observe the Andes up-front and personal. Highly recommend Embark!

Machu Picchu High Passes expedition was a trip of a lifetime! Our guides were experts, the support crew amazing. the scenery beautiful and experiences life changing!

What an amazing company! From the Embark off-site pre-hike personnel (travel guidance, training guide), On-site Director, our lead, assistant lead, porters, waiter, cook. drivers and guides: consistently kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. The equipment was clean and food prepared. Amazing! The indescribable landscape and history are not to be forgotten. I couldn’t ask for a greater experience!!
