Matt and Justin were incredibly knowledgeable and personable to work with. We got several quotes for our mini splits project and Energy Matters were the only ones that did not feel like a car salesman to us. They kept us informed throughout the project. We have such high regard for them!
We worked with Justin on this heat pump project for our loft. His team was professional and courteous. Energy Matters navigated the city's permitting process well. The city just gave our unit an inspection, and it passed with flying colors. We are going to use this company on future projects.

We had a great experience with Energy Matters. Everyone we worked with there was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions about our hvac system. They also helped us create a plan for equipment that would best suit our home. Every person there is friendly and great to work with. Even the team that showed up for installation were all kind and thoughtful throughout the installation. Very easy to talk to and even helped identify “same day” of adjustments that were extremely helpful I would highly recommend them for any project in their wheelhouse.

Working with Energy Matters was a fantastic experience from start to end and I could not recommend them highly enough! We had 7 or 8 different vendors come to do onsite visits and provide quotes but Energy Matters really did things differently. Not only did they take the time to map our whole house and really explain what needed to happen, but their communication and flexibility was fantastic. Their quote was more comprehensive than all of the big HVAC vendors in town and the price came in less! We were able to do a full, on-site walkthrough prior to install and then were clear and easy to work with every step of the way. We had a dual system, mini-split A/C installed in the upstairs of our home and couldn't be happier with the results. I know that working with contractors can often be difficult and full of anxiety but I would recommend Energy Matters to anyone.

Charged $125 to have a couple of simple questions answered for a first-time home owner that probably could have been answered over the phone. They were supposed to provide a quote for a humidifier install, and then no one ever followed up, even months later. Do not recommend.

Energy Matters made it easy for us to make the decision to convert to a climate friendly heat pump for our heating and A/C. They are friendly, knowledgeable and professional and were very transparent about the process and pricing the whole way through, and able to navigate all the complexities of our 1890s house. We are thrilled with the results and will definitely use them for ongoing support and maintenance of our new system.
