Envision Security Inc

After getting taken advantage by Envision Security, I have paid so much money and found out that they are recently bankrupt as of April. And can no longer get that money back. Also, I have had nothing but issues with my system since getting it early this year. And when reaching out to them, there is no answer. I have done a lot of research and found out that the same owners of this company. Just opened up a new company called Premier security and everybody that worked for this There. I think it is really messed up that they would go and shut down one company just to rebrand themselves under a different name with another company to avoid having to help our customers.. I hope that somebody does something about this and shares it publicly because I think that this company and their owners should be held responsible. Dylan Johnson, is the son of former owner of this company Darrell Johnson. Dylan Johnson is the one that is operating premier security. And this I have found through public records.

Stay away from this company! I read another post on here that stated “they will lie” - I truly agree. The salesman, York, will do and say anything to get you to sign a contract with them for a home security system. My husband and I told him that we’d think about it so he offered two months free so we said yes and signed a contract. He said that they’d mail us the checks for the two months. Eight months later, we’re still waiting for those checks. I called them to cancel but they said that we had signed a 36-month contract so, if we decide to cancel, we’d have to pay the remaining months. That was when they would actually answer their phone calls. Now when I call, they don’t answer and, most times, I get a Verizon message after the first ring. So I decided that I’d leave a review to warn others. Also, when they actually answered their calls, I spoke to a woman who said that she’d elevate it to accounting and it would take like six weeks to get it mailed out. So I waited maybe another two or three months and called again, when I was told that they had hired a new accountant so they were catching up on getting those checks out. Now it’s been two months - still waiting. My husband also tried to reach out to York and he doesn’t answer and reply to his text messages and phone calls.

I don’t understand why this company has no direct contact. I’ve called numerous times and not one single person has answered my call. Instead I get the phone number for ADT so ADT can relay the message to them. It’s been almost one week and I have not heard a single call! Ohhh but the sales person was quick to get me set up for my security system. We weren’t even moved in for 2 days and they were there ready to set us up. Dominic the technician guy was late to our installation day. Also we received high praised from his coworker. But on the day he came in, he seemed bothered to be there. Installation could not be completed since we did not have WiFi. The next time he was suppose to come they told us since our system was upgrading, he couldn’t continue with the installation. We now have WiFi and we need someone to come back! Our system is like half installed and we get messages that our panel has been tampered or that the door was left when it really was closed. Someone please contact me!!

Scam I paid for a full year, and apparently they are no longer in business. They disconnected my Ring system and the cameras I had already paid for. Terrible service! Supposedly, another company bought the business, but they also want to charge me again. You can’t trust them anymore

Similar to other recent reviews (sort by 'recent'), I had prepaid for monitoring services from Envision Security that is now unfulfilled. Envision subcontracted monitoring through a company called Becklar, which is not disclosed on their monitoring agreement. In May of this year I received a mailed notice from Becklar that Envision was behind on payments and that monitoring service was being discontinued. Envision had made no effort to contact their customers either before or after Becklar sent out this notice. I have filed a consumer complaint with the Attorney General's office, and I recommend you do the same if you've been negatively impacted by Envision closing its doors without notice and with unfulfilled contracts for services paid in advance.

They went out of business

I prepaid Envision Security $1,800 for 36 months of alarm monitoring. Becklar, the monitoring company, later notified me that Envision was behind on monitoring-service payments and that my monitoring ended on June 17, 2026. Envision has not responded to my calls, emails, or written demand for a refund, transfer, or release of my Alarm.com account/equipment. My app still works, but professional monitoring stopped. I would strongly caution others to verify monitoring status, account transferability, and refund protections before doing business with this company. I now had to find a new company to monitor us since this one couldn't do it.

After you sign up. You'll get ghosted. The only way to make contact was thru email. And even then good luck finishing a conversation. Working with adt is no better. Apparently I signed a 3 yr contract which i would normally never do unless I was buying a car. Now im stuck with a sub par system. And terrible costumer service. Thanks Envision. Way to restore faith in humanity one scam at a time.

Dominic did a fantastic job, was polite, efficient and knowledgeable.

Just a bad company to be blunt. I will never do business with them again after, the lies to my face about what was talked about. They are unprofessional as all can be.
