NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! Great company up front when they are selling you their product but don't expect any customer service once they have been paid. My new Solar system has been malfunctioning and now they won't return calls or answer their phones. SO much for a lifetime warranty.

Envision owes us a rebate check. We’ve been trying to get an update on it for months now. Sent another update this morning, got an email that they closed the business.

We weren’t looking into ever getting solar panels until Chris walked into our doorstep— w/ his iPad and genuine smile. He was personable, informative, and professional. He made us realize of the need we didn’t knew we had until he showed us the help of having solar panels up. Especially, living in Arizona and hitting the summer times, our electricity bill would skyrocket up to $400. We’re definitely looking forward to having a lower monthly bill and stack up $$$ during the winter. The incentives that came along the signup was one to NOT miss out on also! Also, from the get-go, communication has been great between the Envision team members. They do what they say they will, and they do it well. Shoutout to April! I haven’t gotten the chance to speak to Terri, but I’m sure she’s just as kind, helpful, and informative like the others. I love that I can shoot them a message and their responses are prompt. Thank you for the save, Envision! ADDENDUM: Updated Assessment of Envision (July 2026) Regarding Integrity and Professionalism: While the initial sales process led by Chris and the early communication with staff members like April felt personal and professional, my experience has soured significantly. It has become clear that the company’s commitment to their customers is superficial. Despite having signed agreements for specific incentives, Envision has failed to honor these commitments. Management has proven difficult to reach, consistently unresponsive, and appears to place little value on their stated reputation or the trust of their clients. They do not prioritize the customer experience once the contract is signed and the installation is complete. Current Status: Envision is not standing by their signed promises. I am documenting this lack of accountability as a core issue with the company’s business operations. Potential customers should be aware that their "trusted" reputation does not extend to fulfilling financial incentives or maintaining meaningful communication after the sale.

This company and their contractors have dragged out a simple job for over 5 months. Now that I've submitted photos of damages and improperly done work they will not return a call or communicate. The last communication was a threat of "breach of contract if anyone inspects the work". They have done significant damage and refuse to acknowledge or address it. Holes in walls, loose wires, wiring left exposed, components installed and not connected, the list goes on. Add to that, the sales rep acknowledged that it was hack work and "would escalate it to the owner" all 100% B.S. No follow up with adding more equipment even before the headaches started.

If you are looking for solar panels DON'T use this company. I've had my panels well over a year, and never received my incentive check that was promised. They don't follow up to ensure systems are meeting demands after a year like they said they do. They don't actively monitor your system like they said they do. I have emails from a Terri Edmond stating to stop asking about the check I never recieved when I tried to follow up on it. Trying to get a hold of customer service is a joke and feels like pulling teeth just looking for help.

Envision Solar AZROC license has been SUSPENDED!! We are beyond frustrated and deeply disappointed by our experience with Envision Solar. In November 2025, we signed a contract with Envision Solar for a residential solar installation and paid a $42,000 down payment. We were asked to pay the entire $84,000 contract amount upfront, but thankfully we refused and paid only the deposit. More than seven months later, not a single solar panel has been installed on our home. Despite countless promises, excuses, and assurances from Darryl, President of Envision Solar, that our project would be completed, absolutely nothing has been done. Every time we were told the installation was moving forward, we believed him. Every time, we were disappointed. As of June 10, 2026, we are still without the solar system we paid for, and our $42,000 deposit has not been returned. What makes this even more upsetting is the complete lack of communication and accountability. We trusted this company with a substantial amount of money, and in return, we have been left waiting, frustrated, and wondering if we will ever see our money again. We have exhausted every avenue available to us. We have filed complaints with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB), hired an attorney, and filed a police report. Yet despite all of these efforts, we still have not received our refund. Sadly, our family is not the only one affected. Our son also trusted Envision Solar and paid a $48,000 down payment for a solar installation that never happened. He, too, has been forced to file complaints and pursue legal action in an attempt to recover his money. The financial and emotional stress this situation has caused our family has been tremendous. We entered into this contract in good faith, expecting a solar system to be installed on our home. Instead, we have spent months chasing answers, filing complaints, hiring attorneys, and fighting to recover money that should never have been withheld in the first place. Based on our experience, we strongly urge anyone considering doing business with Envision Solar to proceed with extreme caution. Do your research, verify all licensing information, and think carefully before providing a large upfront payment. We would not want another family to experience the frustration, financial loss, and hardship that ours has endured.

The crew showed up just after sunrise and immediately got to work without wasting half the morning talking. They finished faster than expected and cleaned every bit of packaging before leaving. I like that the panels blend nicely with the roof instead of looking bulky or awkward.

Envision solar started out as a great company to work with. They were prompt, kept me in the loop with all the permitting and processes and just overall pleasant. The process went smooth, they asked for half the money up front when the permitting and stuff needed to be done, I obliged quickly. Then as the project neared the end it was as if this company disappeared. But don’t you worry, they wanted their second half of the money promptly, once again. I did exactly as they asked and signed the rest of the money over to them. When I say promptly, I mean they sent me emails every day and called to make sure I was going to sign the money over to them. Now, in the beginning of the project I was promised a $599 “incentive check” for signing up through them in the middle of summer. No date as to when it would be given to me but I was assured usually with 90-120 days after the solar was turned on. My solar was turned on late June of 2025. Today is April 16th 2026. I have reached out multiple times and I get the same response. We aren’t in charge of the money, when the lending company sends us the check, we will send it to you. I’m not a mathematician but I do know that 120 days has came and went, multiple times. These people do not care about you after the install. When they get their money, you’re useless to them. I would not recommend this company to anyone I cared about. It’s only $599 dollars. I paid $30k plus for my solar system, if you cared about your customers, you would take care of them. It’s a simple mistake to be fixed but you continue to blow me off and act like it’s out of your hands.

While the first guy, Christopher Overton, was nice, we were given the runaround regarding our incentive after everything was installed. He said we would get a large incentive check to assist with backyard projects if we signed up with them "today" (February 2025) and then from the day of solar activation (May 2025) it would be 90-120 days to get our incentive check, but we have yet to receive it (August would be 90 days and September would be 120), and it has now been 4 months since the 120-day mark and almost a whole year after we signed this contract. We have been in communication with Terri Edmond, their controller. We are just given the run around of "We don't know where it is, and we are still waiting. Once we have a clearer date, we will reach out." No other communication other than when I reach out to them, monthly, to get an update. We would not have gone with Envision Solar without the incentive, and now we have it, and we have not been paid the incentive, and they are not upholding their promise to us. **EDIT TO ADD** It is almost April, and still no communication. It has been well over 200 days now with zero communication from Terri regarding payment. I have reached out to the BBB and to the AG, and they still have not reached out to me for any payment update.

Buying a solar system is the easy part. There are many companies offering essentially the same components, so getting multiple quotes is wise. Where the rubber meets the road is the installer which is usually outsourced by the solar company. I assume Envison Solar uses multiple installers. I had a very bad experience with the company that installed mine. Very shoddy workmanship and lots of issues. Make sure you get reference from the outfit that will do the installation as I found out, that’s just as important as the solar system you choose.
