My absolute favorite when visiting El Paso! It’s kinda hidden and just a basic store front with blacked out windows. The bread is AMAZING! I love my esponjas!! I have tried their food but it looks like they have a couple of signature dishes like menudo and barbacoa. The absolute best!!!

I love this bakery the best in town!!!
- Meal type: Breakfast
Bread is a bit expensive at 1.50,1.75 a piece but I guess everything is right now, other than that fluffy, airy, delicious sweet bread on demand, very traditional flavors and atmosphere for a panaderia, so good!

They have the nicest staff and their conchas are delicious. We grew up near this bakery so it's been one of my family's favorite spots for pan dulce. The donuts (they run out quickly) are amazing. My husband loves their empanadas (they usually have pineapple and pumpkin and if you're lucky apple). I didn't even know they had churros but it depends when you go. They stay open late so I go after work in hopes I'll get donuts lol. Everything has always tasted fresh and yummy. And I love that they're all bilingual because I butcher Spanish. :)
Traditional Mexican sweet bread. Love the cortadillo.
