John, with Evergreen Decks, impressed me at our first meeting. He quickly understood my needs/concerns regarding repairs to my 26 yr old deck & stairs. He made good suggestions and gave me a reasonable estimate. His crew showed up on time, and worked diligently. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. John will be back in a few weeks to stain my deck, and “marry” it to my screened porch. I’m so happy to have found John, as I know I will have more work in the future that will need his discerning eye and high quality workmanship. Sheri Green Raleigh, NC

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! It was a pleasure working with you, and I’m glad you’re happy with the repairs and the crew’s work. I look forward to returning to stain the deck and bring it together with your screened porch. I truly appreciate your trust and would be happy to help with future projects!

My ancient deck was 32 years old and falling apart. I kept putting off replacement until I fell through it one day, then I knew I had to act. As a very exacting consumer, I did enormous amounts of research before selecting a firm to do the re-decking job. One name stood forth: Evergreen Decks LLC owned by a gentleman named John Popovic. After much discussion, I gave him the contract and to my surprise & delight he and his team exceeded all my expectations. The list of superlatives goes on and on: (a) he quoted the most competitive price of all the candidates, (b) he installed no. 1 premium southern treated pine instead of the knottier no. 2 standard, (c) they used screws instead of nails (a big plus for longevity), (d) they came when they said and they did not stop until the entire job was complete, (e) they cleaned up everything after they finished, (f) and then there was the crew: three gentleman who amazed us, they worked in searing heat for hours, they were skilled deckers & carpenters, they were nice guys who were very welcome on my property. Bottom line here: Evergreen deserves a five star ***** rating against all measures of value, quality, timeliness, fairness, and ease to work with. Do your self a favor and skip the hours of research I had to do… just call John at Evergreen and rest easy; you will have a top-tier deck when all is said and done. Fred DiAddezzio, North Raleigh.

John did an excellent job on our deck rebuild. Not only did we replace our deck, but we added additional space and a screened in porch as well. John was easy to work with and adjusted as needed. I would highly recommend him for your deck build.
