Google reviewers rate Excel One Driving School 4.9 out of 5 based on 55 reviews. Customers frequently praise the instructors for their patience, clear communication, and ability to build student confidence before the driving test. The school offers flexible scheduling and uses modern vehicles for behind-the-wheel lessons. However, a few low-star reviews criticize the business for canceling classes repeatedly and describe one instructor as aggressive, while also noting that the pricing for single sessions feels high.

Cheaper and better, ray is an amazing instructor.
Thanks Ethan, you got your skills down and they're getting better and better all the time is great driving with you and we're going to check those routes in Barstow.
Ray was my son’s driving instructor, and I’m so glad to say that it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Ray was very accommodating with scheduling, and his communication was exceptional. He always kept me informed about the upcoming agenda and how my son’s sessions were progressing. My son is a teenage driver, and he built up so much confidence as a new driver after working with Ray. Multiple times, he told me how supportive, knowledgeable, and overall friendly Ray was. As a parent, it gave me so much peace of mind knowing my son was learning from someone who was patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping him become a confident driver. I would absolutely recommend Ray to any parent looking for a driving instructor for their teen. We are very grateful for the experience!
Thank you Melissa for your thoughtful comments working with your son while he was beginning to train as a young driver that helped extremely finishing the work made him stronger and more confident in his muscle memory started growing.
had an amazing experience with Ray, and would recommend him to anyone. he was really patient and clear from the beginning to the end, and he also explained everything to where it stuck and helped in the future. he also corrected my mistakes without making me feel bad, which definitely grew my confidence on the road. :).
Thanks Cesar you are a great driver and quick learner proud of you as you started to grow and so did your muscle memory when driving.
We were in a rough patch and had to switch over from classes with AAA because scheduling was so difficult with them, Raymond was wonderful to work with, got my son scheduled quick With his instructor, Anna. They were wonderful my son just took his Behind The Wheel test today and passed! We will definitely be bringing our other children to Ray and his staff! Very, very grateful!

The school was incredible, prepared me well for the driving test. The school goes by so quick and Ana was so sweet teaching me, very patient, helpful, and made driving not seem so scary. I got my license now because of this school! Thank you!
Ana was an exceptional instructor and was very patient throughout my drives. I was able to pass my drivers test on my first try, so I really do recommend!

Thank you Joseph your positive responses you are already a great driver all we did was a slight tune-up I made you into a Ferrari.
I took 1 class with Ana! She gave me the confidence and reassurance boost that I needed before taking my test. She was calm, helpful and so nice. I took all her words and guidance and I luckily passed today on my first try!
I recommend Excel One Driving School. Ana was very helpful with teaching my son how to be a safe driver. He stays aware of his surrounding and is a better driver now. Thank you!
Canceled on my kids driving classes two weeks in a row not reliable has no ideas who he's talking to or his schedule hes really struggling... i need my money back asap.
I'm sorry sir that's incorrect I would never cancel any students driving classes unless it was an emergency as in the engine lights are on or there's a recall because the engine lights are on I don't call or my instructor to cancel anybody's lessons so you have us confused or you're doing somebody a favor by saying inconsistent information that's not true. We don't cancel students lessons you're going to go if you go to the reviews you're going to see that there is no negative comments about cancellations so you have us mixed up with another school that's for sure we do not cancel our students.
