Our Alaska adventure was truly the trip of a lifetime, and Mayurika Sheth with Expedia Cruises – Tigard played a major role in making it such a memorable experience. This was actually the second major trip Mayurika has planned for us. In 2024, she helped organize our European adventure through the Czech Republic, Belgium, Ireland, and Scotland. After the care and attention she gave that trip, we trusted her again to help us create an unforgettable journey through Alaska—and once again, she delivered. From the very beginning, Mayurika worked closely with us to develop a personalized itinerary that reflected exactly what we wanted from our Alaska experience. She listened to our ideas, offered thoughtful recommendations, and worked back and forth with us until the trip included the right combination of trains, cruises, wildlife, glaciers, fishing, dog sledding, sightseeing, and time to simply enjoy the beauty of Alaska. Our journey took us from Anchorage to Seward, Talkeetna, Denali, and Fairbanks, with a new adventure waiting at every destination. We saw whales, sea lions, puffins, eagles, moose, glaciers, and some of the most breathtaking scenery imaginable. The wildlife encounters were among the greatest highlights and gave us memories we will talk about for years. Like any major adventure, the trip included a few unexpected challenges and changes. What impressed us most was that Mayurika stayed in contact with us throughout the entire journey. She made sure we received the most current information from her suppliers, helped us stay informed about schedules and transportation, and was available when hotel or travel issues arose. We never felt as though we had simply been handed an itinerary and forgotten once the trip began. Her communication, follow-through, and genuine concern for our experience gave us confidence throughout the journey. She helped us navigate the good, the bad, and even a little of the ugly, while keeping our focus on enjoying the fun and adventure around us. Mayurika Seth planned our Alaska trip, plane trains and buses were getting us around, the different hotels were interesting to see what amenities they each offered. The only breakfast buffet at the Marriott in Fairbanks rocked it. We didn't have to think about food before our excursions.Zudys in Seward was a great choice and across from our hotel, plus a view of Prince William sound. We went in July unfortunately the Aurora Borealis doesn't happen then but it didn't get dark til after 11. Oh also we were in the Thirty percent club, the viewing of Mt McKinley isn't 365 days of the year. The view was from the Alaska mountain Lodge. Totally a wonderful experience. Thanks Mayrurika!!

Expedia Travel Agent Rhea Goin is amazing. I had always thought I couldn’t go on a cruise because I can’t swim, would get seasick, and would be overwhelmed by everything. Boy was I WRONG!! My first cruise was to Alaska on the Norwegian Bliss. From start to finish everything ran smoothly. I asked a million questions about the ship, the restaurants, entertainment, etc. she knew the answers and if she wasn’t sure, she would find the answer for me right away. When I got home, I was thinking I wasn’t sure if I would go on another as I live 2 states east of the Pacific Ocean. That lasted 3 days. I have another cruise booked and a list of cruises I want to go on! If you have ever thought of going on a cruise all I can say is DO IT!! You won’t be sorry!!

Rhea is the best! I live in CT and found Rhea on Facebook on a NCL page. I am SO happy I did! She is attentive, responsive, friendly, chatty, and fun to work with. I never feel rushed when talking to her. She listens to what we are looking for and always has great recommendations.
