Mike and the guys were great! They were very friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and worked with me to keep the project on budget. The entire project took 1 week from start to finish and came out better than I could have hoped for! They guys were super patient with my pups and their picky bathroom habits and only going to the bathroom in our yard. I would happily use them again in the future and 100% recommend them!

We decided to upgrade our existing deck earlier this spring and chose Expert Decking for the job. After all was finished we truly could not be happier with the new deck and our entire experience with Expert Decking. From our first conversations with Mike all the way through the finished project, everything felt easy, professional, and well communicated. Mike and his crew were amazing to work with. They were friendly, respectful, efficient, and clearly took a lot of pride in what they were doing. We were blown away by how quickly they worked, they completely demoed our old decks and had our brand-new deck finished in just 5 days! We even recently hosted a party with over 75 people, and the deck ended up being one of the biggest highlights of the night. Everyone was out there enjoying it, complimenting it, and asking us about it. It was such a great feeling seeing the space filled with our friends and family and knowing how much of a difference the new deck has made for our home. We are so grateful to Mike and the entire Expert Decking crew for giving us an outdoor space we absolutely love. Came across this company on facebook and glad I found them! They took down our old deck and replaced It with a beautiful trex deck. We were blown away by how quickly and perfectly they did everything. Would recommend them to anyone!

We had an overwhelmingly positive experience working with Mike and his team, and I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking to transform their outdoor living space. Our project included a 16' x 25' Trex deck with a roof, natural gas fireplace and TV wall, as well as a 15' x 16' lighted patio and walkway. From our initial meeting through completion, Mike was responsive, honest, and incredibly easy to work with. He originally estimated approximately three weeks for construction, and we finished just shy of four weeks, which was remarkably close considering the size and complexity of the project and some additional subcontracted work along the way. The finished space is fantastic. The deck is beautiful, the fireplace and TV wall came out absolutely gorgeous, and the craftsmanship throughout is excellent. Mike's crew consistently showed up on time, was professional, and respected my home. The subcontractors he brought in were equally impressive: clean, courteous, and respectful of our home and schedule, which was especially important since I work from home. What I appreciated most about working with Mike was that this wasn't treated as simply building another deck. My biggest advice to anyone considering a project like this is to reimagine what your outdoor space can be and ask questions throughout the process. Mike was incredibly receptive to sitting down with us and thinking through not only what we wanted to build, but how we actually planned to use the space. We discussed things like stair placement based on where our grill and furniture would go, the number of stairs, whether we needed a gate, and whether the ceiling should be flat or pitched. We also talked through different materials, including soffit versus tongue-and-groove. These may seem like small decisions individually, but collectively they make a huge difference in how the finished space looks and functions. I strongly encourage anyone working with Mike to ask questions, even the ones you think might be silly. Look at examples of his previous projects, ask what he recommends, and tell him how you envision using the space. Mike will give you honest feedback about whether an idea makes sense for your space and budget. At the same time, if there's something you really want and it can be done, he'll work with you to figure out how to make it happen. He was always receptive to adjustments and new ideas throughout our project. I wanted a dark ceiling for my roof and Mike custom purchased heaters (more below) and recessed lights to fit my vision. We wanted our deck to feel like an extension of our home's living space, and that's exactly what it has become. In addition to the fireplace and TV, we incorporated outdoor heaters so we can comfortably use the space well into late fall and potentially early winter, along with a dining area that gives our family another place to eat, relax, and spend time together. My only regret actually involves something Mike recommended that I declined: adding speakers into the ceiling. Now that we're using the space, I absolutely wish I had listened to him and had them installed! Would've been great for parties and listening to the game from the patio. If you're considering working with Mike, don't limit yourself to thinking about simply replacing or building a deck. You can, but trust he's capable of more. Think about how you can extend the usable living space of your home. Bring Mike your ideas, even the creative / unconventional ones, and have the conversation. He can help you figure out what works, what doesn't, and where it makes sense to spend your money. Mike and his team delivered a beautiful finished product at a very reasonable price. I would absolutely work with Mike again. We still stay in touch, and as I come up with more creative ideas for the space, I fully expect I'll be reaching back out to him to see what we can do next. 100% recommended for anyone looking to build or completely transform an outdoor living space.

I absolutely love my new deck!!! The work crew was so professional and did an excellent job. They completed the job in three days……..and that was with having to first take down my old deck. They kept the work area clean and treated my home with great respect. My deck is a wonderful space that brings my family so much happiness………so, for anyone wanting a deck built, I would definitely recommend Expert General Contracting for the job! I am a very happy customer!!!

Just wanted to say Expert Decking General Contracting did an Absolutely Fantastic job from start to finish!! Professional, Friendly & Very Knowledgeable & Super Efficient on All Details!!👍👍👍 When the old deck was being removed, there were some pieces of wood that needed replacing, they immediately went into action & took care of it & we felt reassured it was done properly!! We are sooo Thrilled & Happy we chose this team!! Family & Friends are Really Enjoying the new addition!! Super exciting that we no longer have to stain a deck anymore! Mike and his crew blew my expectations away. I've followed Expert GC for years and knew they did amazing work but never did I expect them to demolish our old,unsafe deck and put up our new beautiful deck in 2 days. The deck they gave us is beyond beautiful. It is sturdy and functional. It stands out from other decks in the area. They worked from 8am until 5pm with hardly any breaks. They were polite and professional- one of the hardest working crews I've ever seen. They cleaned everything up. There was not one piece of old wood, nails, etc in my backyard. We can't thank you enough Expert GC!!!
