I had a great experience with Extra Mile CDL Academy. The preparation for the exam is done one-on-one with an instructor, which makes the learning process much more effective.
The training process was fast and well-structured. I worked with John, and he is an excellent instructor — very patient and able to explain everything in a simple and clear way. He showed me exactly how to perform all the yard maneuvers, where to look, and what to focus on.
During road driving, both in the city and on the highway, he gave practical tips and useful recommendations that really helped build confidence.
The entire process — from scheduling to training and the exam — was smooth, predictable, and relatively easy.
I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to get their CDL Class A license.
Great guys and great program. Isn't just a book and tests, gives you hands on training and breaks it all down to manageable parts. These guys also wanna see you pass and will help you where its needed to help you get your CDL.

Extra Mile CDL Academy is a great school to get a CDL. Bret was my instructor, very kind and easy to learn from. I would highly recommend this academy to anyone who is looking to get their CDL.
When I was looking at schools to get my cdl I came across extra mile academy. They were the most affordable and flexible when it came to getting me in especially having a full time job already. The program they offer is very hands on, great people to work with and they actually care about you. John was my instructor and made sure I was comfortable and would pass the first time. I 10/10 recommend this school to anyone interested in getting their cdl.
My initial conversation with Brett over the phone was wonderful. He walked me through their training process and made it very easy to sign up. John was my trainer and I couldn't have asked for a more positive encouraging and knowledgeable person to get me into the trucking industry. This is a very hands-on program with well qualified trainers at the school. John did a great job of getting me from zero trucking experience to the knowledge and skills I needed to pass my exam. He was great with training and superb with entry level advice to further my career. I am truly grateful to these guys and this school for getting me started in my dream career.
