Initially, I gave this business a one star review because they didn't show up for quoting a project. Not even a call or anything.
Once my review showed up, then I got calls and texts. I cotos answer those phone calls as I'm also running a business.
The request I got from the business was to remove the one star review. I didn't do it because it's important for the community to understand the businesses that serve the area.
It was never my intention to solicit your business, specially, when you were able to fix what you had to do. I was going to explain what you needed to do regatones your domain. That was free advice ai like to help business owners when they have bad situations like yours.
I'm sorry about your loss, and the same as you, I'm a dad who runs a business and understand complex situations.
What I don't understand was the reluctance to reply to my comment and provide context.

I normally do not discuss personal matters on our business page, but I feel it is important to provide some context regarding this review.
We had scheduled an appointment for me to visit your property and look at the work you needed. Unfortunately, on that same day, my family and I suffered the loss of our beloved 14-year-old dog, who had been part of our family for many years and was like a baby a daughter to us. It was an extremely painful and unexpected day. I sincerely acknowledge that I should have contacted you to cancel the appointment. I did not, and for that I apologized. The pain we were experiencing that day simply did not allow us to think about anything other than her and our family.
Days later, you posted your review, When I became aware of your review, I personally called you and left you a voicemail explaining what had happened. I also sent you a written message. Later, my son also reached out to explain the situation. Unfortunately, you chose not to answer our calls so that we could speak directly and respectfully as two people and clarify the situation. You only responded by text message.
Perhaps you may not understand what it means to love an dogs as part of your family or the tremendous pain that comes with losing one after 14 years. Before being a business owner, I am a woman, a mother, a wife, and a human being. That day, my family was going through a moment of profound grief, and my mind simply was not focused on business. Forgive me for having a heart that knows what true love feels like.
What makes this situation especially disappointing is that during our first conversation, you informed me that our company website had been hacked and was redirecting visitors to a gambling website. I sincerely appreciated you bringing this to my attention. I explained to you that my company is legitimate and has built a 5-star reputation, and you responded that you were aware of that. The website issue was immediately resolved by the person who already handles that area for our company.
During that same conversation, you also told me that you work in this field and mentioned that we could discuss it further when I came to your home, which gave me the impression that you were interested in offering your services to work on our website.
Family Fencing LLC is called “Family” for a reason. This company was built by my husband, my son, and me through years of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication. We are an honest, hardworking family business that pays its taxes, supports its employees, and works extremely hard to provide quality service and keep our customers happy. Our reputation means a great deal to us.
I respect everyone's right to leave a review, but I also believe that circumstances, compassion, and humanity matter. Behind every small business are real people, real families, and sometimes very painful moments that the public does not see.
God knows who you are, and He knows who we are. At the end of the day, our success will not be determined by your review, but by the quality of our work and the service we will continue to provide to our clients with care, dedication, and love.
I wish you and your business much success, and I hope that life always reminds us of the importance of showing compassion and understanding toward others.
